1980 Yamaha Special XS400 (El Paso, IL) $375
This is a 1980 Yamaha XS400 Special with a clear Illinois title. Motor/Frame VINs = 3F9-011961. 15,404 miles. Last licensed in 1987. Sat in farm building since I recently bought it along with another bike and do no want this one, but had to buy it in package deal. Turns over freely with very good compression. Static shifts through all the gears. Missing the carb boots to the air box. Back tire has about 30% tread left. Front one has about 90% left. Pipes look good as well as mag wheels. Inside tank is clean. Left side of tank has a dent. Someone has painted over the original red paint on the tank and side covers. I removed what you see in the pictures with very fine steel wool in about 10 minutes - comes off pretty easy without scuffing the paint. May be able to deliver for a small fee. May possibly trade for other motorcycles, parts, or motorcycle related items.

1982 Honda NU5OM MOPED (El Paso, IL) $175
This is a Honda NU5OM 50cc 2 stroke moped. No title, but will provide a bill of sale. Last registration from 1993 in Iowa in seat, so original owner could be contacted to possibly get a title. Runs fine with no motor or transmission noises. Gas tank, petcock, and carburetor will need to be cleaned as it was stored with fuel in it. Sprayed some gas/oil into the spark plug hole numerous time and it started and ran just fine. Has 9,556 miles on odometer. Kicks over with good compression. Electric start works fine. Could not get lights to work. May be able to deliver for a small fee. May possibly trade for other motorcycles, parts, or motorcycle related items.
1965 ALL ORIGINAL Bridgestone BS7 w/ Title! (El Paso, IL) $500
This is for a 1965 Bridgestone BS7 2 stroke 50cc motorcycle with clear Illinois title. 3,425 miles. Frame VIN KB09964. Motor VIN E-10059759. Tag on frame reads "Serial # 10059759, Model BS-7/D". Starts and shifts great. Gas tank will need to be cleaned as it sat with gas in it. I drained the gas and put fresh oil/gas in and it rand for a few seconds before the petcock became plugged with old gas residue. Borrowed a tank from another bike and it started right up. I ran it for about 5 minutes with no engine or transmission noises. Ran it on the center stand through the gears. Headlight, taillight, turn signals and horn work fine. High beam does not - probably just the bulb. Front turn signal lenses are broken. Missing the left side cover. Needs a battery. Chrome on pipe, handlebars, mirrors, and rims have some rust. Seat cover has a couple of small tears. Paint is good - fading in some spots. Brakes and clutch work great. May be able to deliver for a small fee. May possibly trade for other motorcycles, parts, or motorcycle related items.

Runs very smooth. There is no hesitation when taking off in chilly weather and the bike doesnt bog down with no warm up time thanks to the jet kit. I have been using K&N oil filters with Amsoil oil for the past couple oil changes. I have a print out factory manual as well.

This is a really nice automatic 4x4 atv. No tears in seat and no cracked plastics. The dump bed works great with working tailgate which does have a half-dollar size hole but does not interfere with the operation or use. Normal scuff due to wear of use. Other than that a great looking atv which runs and drives excellent. Tires are in good condition, with low hours of 234 and 1270 miles. Chapter 482 has a local charity the we are developing a relationship with CIRT(Central Illinois Riding Therapy) This is an organization that works with both mentally and physically handicapped children to help build self esteem, self confidence, coordination, along with the many benefits each child experiences.

Currently, the meetings are held on the 3rd Saturday of each month, at 10:00 a.m. (If weather permits we go on a ride after the meeting or at least get something to eat)
We are looking for Fun people that enjoy Riding who wish to join our Chapter. The nice thing about The Star Touring and Riding Organization is they have given the okay to allow folks to attend 3 different Chapter functions before asking you to Join the international organization. This Allows you the opportunity to see if this is something you want to be a part of and to get to know the current members of the Chapter.
The following requirements for formally joining our Chapter apply:
Prospective members must attend a minimum of three Chapter events, one of which must be a Chapter ride, in a five-month period before membership may be considered.
Prospective members must join the Star Touring & Riding Association by the completion of their third chapter event.
The prospective member will then be voted into the chapter by it's members.
If you are looking to bounce from Bar to Bar then we are NOT your group, We like to ride more than a block at a time and will typically put 350 miles on in a day going to different locations and points of interest.
The only dues you pay are to the International organization our chapter does not want your money We want You to come and join us.
We have maintenance days to do whatever our members need to economically maintain the motorcycles and keep them safe.
