Hey, I'm 20 years old I play guitar, bass and drums, and have my own gear. I'm originally from the Chicago area and am currently still living there, but spring semester I'll be transferring to ISU. I'm trying to set something up with a guitarist or bassist or drummer, because I have no preference as to what instrument I play. My ultimate goal in this is to get a gigging band going. I have live experience and I have been in a few bands before, that just never seemed to work out. I'll have a place to practice when I move to Normal, so that shouldn't be a problem. As far as sound goes I'm really into alternative rock. I like Bayside, Alkaline Trio, Death Cab for Cutie, Motion City Soundtrack, Mountain Goats, Dropkick Murphy's, Flogging Molly, and countless others. E-mail me and hopefully we can set something up. I also have some of my guitar playing recorded so I can send that as well if you request it. I'd like to find people around my age, but thats not a requirement.

Anyone interesting in starting up an acoustic group? I own and can play acoustic bass guitar and acoustic guitar. I'm looking to start something to just play with other people. Drummer/Guitarist(s) Wanted (Bloomington, IL)

We are experienced musicians looking to put together a new project called Scars Speak Stories based out of Bloomington, IL. Our exact needs are not known, but we definitely require a drummer and at least one guitarist. The idea behind the band is brand new so any music we create, you will have influence on. The style is expected to be a hard rock/metal/experimental mixture. We do have a few requirements:

Professional gear and attitude.
Experience on the road is preferred.
Must be at least 21.
Must be able to work, argue and create with others.
Must be dedicated to music.
Weekend and occasional weekday availability is a must as we plan to play often, and travel across IL and out of state.
Must be available at least one weekday evening, possibly 2, for practice.
