RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provides oversight of various information technology solutions for major business processes and strategies for designing new or enhancing existing software programs/applications or components.

• Has specific responsibility for direction of managers and product owners over application development, technical systems support and application maintenance plus the collaborative responsibility to allocate resources to support Division and Department objectives.

• Confers with state, federal and department staff on state and federal requirements and department compliance, and is responsible for program compliance with all mandated requirements.

• Responds to requests from legislators, local government officials and the public; and testifies before legislative committees on proposed legislation.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Good knowledge of management practices
• Experience developing and administering policies, procedures and a program budget
• Experience implementing organizational change within a service delivery program
• Experience applying measurement processes/methods for assessing program outcomes or progress toward goals
