I decided to research these dogs and I am not the seller! This is what I found: maybe people should do their own research before bashing pet owners on CL

The Maltese Dachshund mix, also called a Mauxie or Moxie dog, is a cross between a Dachshund and a Maltese. These hybrid dogs are recognized by the American Canine Hybrid Club and can be registered on their website. They are a unique, little Maltese dog breed mix that comes in all shapes and sizes and is rare to find. Personality
These dogs take on the temperanment of both Dachshunds and Maltese. They are lively, affectionate, and bold little dogs. Maltese Dachshund dogs are very curious and sometimes can become mischievous; which can make them difficult to train. You should socialize and train them to combat compulsive barking and digging. They are great travel dogs and make a good watchdog. These dogs do best with older, considerate children as they are moderately protective and sometimes quick to bite. Most people find them to have a willful and clownish personality.

Appearance
If you like a wide variety of colors and a unique shape, than this Maltese mix might be right for you! Dachshunds may be solid-colored tan or yellow or bi-colored deep black, brown, or gray with areas of bright chestnut. There are also piebald, speckle-streaked, or harlequin varieties. When you mix this with a white Maltese, you get varying shades and patches of color. You might say that they are like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're gonna get. Hair is usually straight and long. Therefore, they need daily combing and brushings. Some will shed, while others will not. Since Dachshunds come in many sizes (Toy, Miniature, and Normal), full grown Dachshund Maltese mixes can weigh anywhere from 6-15lbs.

Good Christmas Surprise! (Kuna)

My 7 month old little baby boy needs a new, better home. His name is Hudson and he's a Dalmation/Blue Heeler mix and he's been a blessing to our little home. But that is exactly the problem, our home is too little for my growing boy. I got him at a time of hardship in my life and it was a desperate act of selfishness. I needed a distraction badly while my husband was away for the military, but as he is continuing to grow, there is less and less space for him. Our yard is not fenced in and he cannot be left free inside our home during the day while we're at work. He lives in a cramped crate all day long, long enough where I feel it may be border-line neglect on our part. He deserves a better life than that. But at the time we have no choice. Like I said, he's 7 months old, going on 8 months on the 3rd of December. He was born April 3rd, this year and he's been a hero in my life, a shining light in a dark place. As he is part Dalmation, he's very energetic and still very much a puppy. He loves to play tug-of-war and fetch and go for walks and runs. He would do very very well in a home with other dogs, would do well with cats that are willing to play with him (my cat still hates him to this day). He still needs some training, but does well about potty time. He still has a very rare accident, but again, I blame myself because he is crated up for such a long time. Would do best with a family with kids that are a little older do to how hyper he is, but he is super loving and sweet. He loves to be scratched on the ears and tummy. I will be providing the crate, his collar and leash, water and food bowls, and a bag of dog food, so I will be asking for a $60.00 rehoming fee. He's had his first shots, but nothing other than that. He's not neutered yet, and I was going to get it done, but he just needs to be in a better home as soon as possible. I love him so much and it's breaking my heart, but I'm not being fair to him if I continue to keep him here. I will send pictures when asked. He would make a great new addition to a family with time, space, and lots of love and just in time for Christmas. God Bless.

Hello, I have two wonderful birds with a really nice cage I bought for 175$ that my daughter chiped a side of. The picture will show you. They were hand fed and hand tame for a long time.
My friend who I got them from stoped showing them attention and no they are unsure of being held and simply try to fly away. I know that bringing them back to being hand tame is very real. It just takes time and patience. They really do love people they just stoped geting attention and rebell. They are a breeding pair and have laid eggs before. We are not trying to have babies.
We can't seperate them.

Listen....Craigslist isn't going to close down anything for you or even if a hundred people write in complaining. They never have and never will. For the most part they pay no attention with what goes on in this section as well as many of the other sections unless it is a rightful CRIME concerning police investigations. So stop trying to threaten and bully people who post pets in here for fees you are not willing to pay or disagree with....... NOTHING is going to change in Craigslist just because you've got your panties in a knot over fees. Flagging has not prevented anything either, so it is rather silly for people to waste so much time in vain doing so. But hey, they feel they're doing somethig productive with their time so go for it I guess...LOL

Think about it:.....if flagging is noticed by Craigslist, then how is it that so many repeat their postings? And no they do not answer your emails when you write in and complain of fees. Unless it involves matters for the police department, which would involve a much more serious crime then pet fees.

I am sure they get a kick out of reading posts such as yours though...if they even bother. Which I highly doubt. It's a free advertising site!!!

American Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer - male - one year old.
Bobo is a fun-loving happy puppy who thrives on attention. He has so much fun playing with his toys and other dogs. However, he can get protective when he has to share food with other dogs so he needs to be an ONLY dog. He walks nicely on a leash and sits on command. He is crate trained, house trained, and he enjoys rides in the car. His former foster mom says he is an "Excellent Dog" and describes him as friendly to all, easy to live with, playful, and active. He has been around kids of all ages including toddlers. He is neutered, vaccinated, and micro-chipped.

BoBo was adopted by a wonderful family unfortunately it didn't work out because he liked to chase the chickens! They were heart broken when they had to bring him back.

See what I'm talking about? Conservatives can't wait to start cussing and inevitably show the word their limited vocabulary. Maybe if they spent less time being so angry with others they'd enjoy their lives. I have kept employees and yet I don't whine about helping the community at large. I'll tell you what the difference was for him, he'd rather have his peers and neighbors see what he gives so that he can clear his conscience and be seen as gracious. It wouldn't be as satisfying if nobody knew how generous he was being. Pride, vanity, whatever you want to call it, that's exactly what it amounts to in that example. Conservatives seem to be such a religious bunch. I wonder if they ever ask themselves, "would Jesus bitch about helping his fellow man like we do?".

TWO FREE KITTENS TO A GOOD HOME!!

I have these two kittens that showed up on my doorstep. I am unable to keep them and need to find them a good home. Preferably for both of them to go to. One is a boy and the other is a girl. Most Likely brother and sister. The boy is a darker gray striped with white on his neck and some white on his belly and the back two feet have tips of white. The girl is a lighter gray striped with white down her nose and majority of her lower half, down her neck, belly, and all four legs. They both have been using a litter box and are becoming very loving lap kitties!! I do not know their exact age but I would have to guess anywhere between 8 to 12 weeks old. They love to play together and they love to cuddle up with you and be loved and petted. Hi everyone,

About 25 years ago I found a cassette entitled BREAKFAST IN THE FIELD by Micheal Hedges and became an immediate fan. I just couldn't believe what I was hearing. You would swear there were at least two guitarists playing on some of the songs. I was lucky enough ot see him in concert 5 times before his tragic death in 1997. I began learning his songs right away and am proud to say I can play 10 of his songs including LAYOVER, ELEVEN SMALL ROACHES, BREAKFAST IN THE FIELD, TWO DAYS OLD, PEG LEG SPEED KING, THE UNEXPECTED VISITOR, RICKOVER'S DREAM and BENSUSAN. I even bought a harp guitar (pictured) so I could learn BECAUSE IT'S THERE and THE DOUBLE PLANET.

I'm offering to teach anyone who wants to learn the Hedges' Technique. Lessons are 20 dollars an hour in my home and 30 dollars in your home.

I've been performing at some of the open mics around town and am currently playing at Liquid Lounge on Tuesday nights.

Neutered Blk lab/chow mix, great dog needs new home (Weiser)

Sam is an approx. 4 year old neutered black lab/chow mix. He is up-to-date on his shots. He is a friendly, smart, well mannered dog that loves to ride in a pickup. He is medium size - about 40-50 lbs and medium energy (not hyper but not a slug either). He was taken in for a relative that moved and could not take the dog. He is not making a very good farm dog because he tends to wander. He would probably do best in a home with a fenced yard. He gets along well with the other farm dog that is the alpha. He submits to him and does not fight. He has been kept as an outside dog while on the farm, but has a nice warm place to sleep (with a couch to lay on) in one of the heated out buildings. It is not known if he is housebroke, but he does not relieve himself inside the out building. He may have been a house dog with his previous owner. He is very smart so he should be very easy to train. If you can provide a good loving home where he will get lots of attention and have a fenced yard where he can play, this is the guy for you. He will make a wonderful loyal companion and a great family dog.

Amen! The fact is I did vote for McCain and Palin. How would they of done? Nobody will ever know. The fact is the two primary parties in this country no longer stand for me. What they stand for has become a blur behind bullshit. So every election I try to figure out which one is the lesser of two evils.

I feel the Democratic have become more of a Socialist party in the last 15 to 20 years. We all know the cycle politics is going to follow. World history has shown it over and over again. Sooner or later we are going to become a socialist country. Then we will become a dictatorship. Then as time will tell a Republic once again and later a Democracy once again. Over 200 years to get here..... How long can we as Americans hold out against the odds. I don't know. If something doesn't change what we are doing we are doomed to this fate.
