Secondary Marketing Officer (Boise ID)

Incumbent will conduct mortgage loan sales to secondary market investors; oversee loan purchases/closings to ensure that investor requirements are met and oversee the monthly reporting and remittance of funds. Responsible for ensuring that HUD, VA, RD and other regulatory requirements are followed.
Five years experience in secondary marketing, investor accounting and mortgage lending or financial background is required. Must be self-directed with strong computer and communication skills. Ability to maintain effective working relationships, work independently to schedule, organize, plan, prioritize and meet mandatory deadlines is required.

The Pacific Mountain Affiliate of the American Heart Association is currently recruiting to fill an outside sales/fundraising position in our Boise, ID office. We are looking for an experienced business to business sales or fundraising professional who is expected to conduct at least 8 external appointments per week with corporate CEOs/upper level management in their territory and increase companies that participate by at least 20% each year. This position currently has a $200,000 fundraising goal made up of sponsorship dollars. Compensation includes a competitive salary, a yearly incentive plan, travel reimbursement and a great benefits package.
Under the direction of the Regional Vice President, the Director is responsible for implementing fundraising strategies directed toward employers in the Boise market for the Boise Gala and Go Red for Women Luncheon. The Director manages and mobilizes CEO's, Presidents and Upper Level Management from top employers to raise funds within their own corporation based on market potential. The main priorities of the Director are to directly solicit corporate dollars for sponsorship, upgrade existing customers, and prospect and cultivate new accounts. The Director will also be expected to engage companies in all aspects of the Go Red for Women campaign and identify potential Cities Go Red Cause sponsors year-round.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide the vision and strategic direction for the Gala and Go Red for Women Luncheon events that support the organization’s goals and objectives.
2. Through outcome and evaluation of previous campaigns, organize a written plan to meet or exceed goals by using AHA best practices for Gala and Go Red for Women Luncheon events.
3. Assist in identification and recruitment of key event leadership positions with highly qualified individuals.
4. Conduct orientation meetings with volunteer leadership.
5. Develop, implement and manage event timeline and budget.
6. Develop effective working relationship with high-level executives, recruit and solicit sponsorship in support of Gala event.
7. Work with committee chairs on all aspects of their campaign/events to assure successful outcomes.
8. Conduct Gap analysis and strategy meetings with volunteer leadership to support goal achievement.
9. Anticipate possible problem areas and recommend approaches to prevent occurrence, reduce impact, or overcome barriers to campaign/event implementation.
10. Serve as staff liaison between assigned activities and AHA leadership team to ensure implementation of common goals and to promote a harmonious working relationship.
11. In addition to the above, perform other duties as assigned.
Experience:
Minimum Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
2. Minimum of 2 years experience in a fundraising or outside sales position that involves building and maintaining sales relationships at the corporate level with demonstrated success.

4. Knowledge and demonstrated ability to successfully identify, cultivate, recruit, and maintain relationships with top level volunteers.
5. Proven ability to understand and navigate corporate cultures to achieve goals.

7. Ability to plan, conduct, and participate in meetings, work in a team environment and interact with all levels of AHA staff, volunteers and public.
8. Valid driver's license, proof of at least minimum state required automobile liability insurance and ability and willingness to travel as position demands.
9. Ability to work outside standard hours as needed, including occasional evenings and weekends.
10. Ability to use Microsoft products, computer software, run reports and maintain accurate data.
11. Satisfactory background checks including employment reference checks, consumer credit, motor vehicle, and criminal history.

Seeking Outbound Programs Coordinator for exchange students
Terra Lingua USA is seeking dynamic individuals for open Outbound Coordinator positions. Applicants should have a general knowledge of their community and not be shy. Should have a passion for children and education, particularly international exchange. Should be comfortable talking to and recruiting students and teachers for our programs abroad and be able to relay the importance of this experience to them.
Must have a computer and phone and vehicle (as your often driving to in-class presentations and/or other community events (having a fax machine would be a huge plus).
Duties include: Recruiting students and teachers to go abroad and take their class abroad on one of our outbound programs. Coordinating the trip (completing paperwork and interviews), acting as the liaison between the student/teacher and the Outbound Manager. In some cases, maintaining contact with the natural family while their child is abroad.
Pay: Is 1099 income – you are responsible for your own taxes.
Outbound Academic Programs (an individual student travels for school for a semester or year) – you are paid $1000.00 per student
Outbound Summer student (on a group led trip) – you are paid $200/student
