We had 3 labs and a basset hound and we bought a Bissel Power Force bagless vaccum. It was around 45 dollars and its been great. We also use a product from Arm&Hamor that is suppose to help the dog hair loose its static attachment to the carpet.

My girlfriend and I have an Eureka Altima, It works great for dog hair. Its bagless, so its easy to keep clean. Make sure you keep the filters clean. The only problem I have had was replacing the roller. Good Luck

How much is the jewelry worth? If the jewelry was on a 'secured' loan, whatever you pledged for security can be confiscated. However, whether or not the company goes after it pretty much depends on the company and the value of the jewelry. And, your attorney is correct--'they' pretty much don't collect on small amounts (they write it off). If they wanted to, they would have to send someone to the creditors' bankruptcy hearing, then wait, then follow up, then try to collect... lots of hoops to jump through and generally not worth the related costs (read your documents or go to the US bankruptcy site for info).

RE Highway 16 and IDIOTS

The discussion regarding the recent accidents simply re-enforce the reasons the accidents happen. In the first "head on" speed related to passing any vehicle was not an issue. The lady driving northbound simply was driving unsafe and irresponsibly. There was no slow poke old lady (or man) involved as a cause. No crazy young speedster but simply a person who either was driving stupidly or inattentivelyho INEXPLICABLY drove into the opposing lane NOT while passing another vehicle. The only other vehicle involved was the one struck!

From accounts of the second accident it too sound as though the speed limit being an issue is irrelevant. Again, a driver was driving unsafe and irresponsibly which lead to an accident.

You could make the limit 25 and still have morons drive too fast and if it was 80 people who are morons would still do stupid things. Unless you can outlaw stupidity and enforce it these things will continue to happen.

Trying to protect people from themselves and to protect the innocent from stupid irresponsible people is as pointless as teaching pigs to fly.

Where has common sense gone? The speed limit is effectively set by the slow vehicle you catch up to people. Then like rape, you might as well just sit back and enjoy the "boring ride". Find another ride or get another life but stop endangering others by acting selfishly and irresponsibly. Does it REALLY matter to anyone if they make that drive at 55, 65 or 75 in the big picture?

IF they drop the limit to 55 I will get tickets at 1 am for going 65. If they get everyone to drive 65 others will still want to drive 80 and pass on corners. Incidentally, the first crash hardly classifies as my idea of a blind corner. Slow down going by once and take a peak where the marks are still. If it was two lane divided highway the drivers who caused these accidents would be the ones going 90 miles an hour weaving in and out of traffic passing on the right and tailgating the driver in the passing lane already going 75.

Till we can effectively outlaw idiots and morons they will cause harm to innocent people regardless of what other laws are created or actions taken.

If you actually bothered to read about the extension, it came from the IDFG Commission, which is very different from the real biologists and employees of the Fish and Game. The Commissioners are appointed by the Govenor and often make decisions for completely political reasons. I would not be surprised if Butch had some influence on this decision.

Do you really believe, that our financial status was only caused by the GOP? You must not follow politics or economics very closely. One of the reasons we are several billion dollars in debt, is because the Democrats decided that loaning money to people who couldn't pay it back, was acceptable behavior.

You have just demonstrated that you do not follow politics or economics very closely but you do follow and swallow everything you are told by certain media outlets.
The Democrats did not as you claim make anyone loan anything to anyone, what did happen was the republicans allowed banks to loan money to anyone and sell that debt to other banks and institutions, freddy and fanny for instance. You did know that freddy and fanny held very little bad debt didn't you?
The republicans, again under the idea of 'free trade' and 'de-regulation' removed most of the safe guards put into the banking industry after the great depression, you kow the safe guards that keep the economy from collapsing, and guess what happened.....the economy collapsed after it was raped and pillaged. Are the Democrats free from blame? No they are not but they sure as hell didn't cause our current set of economic problems, the republicans hold claim to about 90% of that blame.
Seriously, if you want to play in this arena you can't do it with your partisan blinders on and you really have to get more than one side of the story. Turn off fox, turn off your radio and start looking for the real causes, it's that important.

And if you can't see that we the American people, the voters or should I say the nonvoters are responsible for the government we have then you are a fool. I believe in term limits, I think that a college education is a right I believe in affordable health care and if that means universal then so be it. But I also think that in order to vote you should have passed a civics test, be able to name your local reps and at least half the cabinet. While voting is a right it is also a responsibility. I also think that your religious preference should be kept secret and if you wear God on your sleeve you shouldn't be allowed to run for office.

The best advice I ever heard on that subject is to weigh first on whether you really like the asshole whom won't pay you back and the amount you loaned them and decide if maybe never seeing their sorry asses again is worth it. Maybe you can consider it money well spent, though in this case you will need to get your tools back. One thing's for sure, so long as they don't pay you back they can't ask again. Go ahead and put a loser stamp on that one.

I don't even know what bracket my income would fall into but I'm thinking lower middle class and that's with my wife's paltry income included. Unlike you I am insured but it seems worthless most the time as they take advantage of the fact that I don't have hours to spend on the phone arguing every denied claim. I think starting a health insurance company must be pretty easy. You just get some forms that say 'not covered' and start sending 'em out whilst collecting heaps of dues from suckers like myself. It truly is a sad state of affairs when people can look a fellow human being in the eye whom suffers or may even be headed for an early death and tell them that there is nothing that can be done, not because we don't have the skills or technology but because you can't afford it. Take comfort in knowing that if you die some rich pukes will buy your worthwhile organs to satisfy their own needs, Hell their insurance will probably even cover it. I had another post that you really helped me with the other day about the cheater!! I knew for some reason we were alike in other ways. I too had a horrible mother.. yeah yeah.. mommy issues suck!! She had some type of mental disorder & when her Dr diagnosed her with depresssion she was in deep denial because of her thoughts on it. Her ideas of life were passed to me. I am also trying to rebuild a new me, with REAL thoughts & views of life. It is also genetics that I suffer from manic depression as well. My mother on the other hand if she went to actually get a real diagnosis I bet she would be diagnosed with more of a mutiple personality disorder or somethig.
We have to keep reminding ourselves that we are our own person & try to stay focused on reality of it all. I have a hard time doing that a lot. I blame other people for my problems all the time. I really liked what my counselor told me.... I have to live by this soon, YIKES... he said that once he came close to 30 he realized that he has to stop blaming his parents for the way his life had been going, since by the time you reach 30 you would have had 12 years of being an adult, on your own & making your own desicions. Which is enough time to have corrected mistakes made due to fault of how you were raised. I know sometimes they still haunt us, but we must move forward. We can't continue to let them have control over us & our lives.
So here I sit & happy to say that I have worked past my mommy issues, I have forgiven her. Now if I can work on my other issues... LOL I am now just trying to become a better person not just for myself, but for my son. I want him to have the mother I wish I did. My life goal is no longer great success (although I am still shooting for that) etc, etc... It is now to be the best mother I can to my son & give him the best life I can.

I am so sorry to hear you have someone close to you who is dying. That is always hard & can make a person relapse into those bad thoughts. If you ever need someone to chat with who can realte.. you are welcome to e-mail me.
