Seeking nanny/teacher for Fri. or Sat. evening - Competative pay! (Boone, NC)

Seeking an EXPERIENCED, MATURE AND RELIABLE teacher/babysitter/nanny who can be available this coming Fridayor Saturday and dates in the future. We will be visiting friends in Boone and would like to find a consistent person who can be available for care of one 6 year old child.

Teacher/Nanny/babysitter MUST be at least 21 years of age, have a minimum 2-5 years of childcare/nanny/babysitting experience and be able to provide ample verifiable references. A CLEAN background and good driving record is a MUST. Must be a non-smoker and have the ability to have successful interaction with a school age child. A criminal background check and identity verification will be conducted.

Hours for this Friday or Saturday will be 8:00 PM until 12:00 or 1:00 AM. Compensation will be based on previous experience, education and salary history but will be competative.

This position would be for this week-end and dates in the future.

Daycare Playdates Available for a couple Toddlers (Boone)

Hi there!

I am hoping to find a couple families that would maybe want to supplement a couple days of daycare a week with more personal childcare. I am only asking for enough pay to cover food, craft supplies, and a small amount of gas that would be used to go to places like the library, playground, and other adventures we might have. Once we get to know each other better, I may even like to take them on little day trips. The zoo is not too far and there are a million things to see right here in the mountains. ( I have a very clean driving record!) Preferably, the kids would be between 2 and 5. Close to our daughters age.

Our family has been in Boone for 1yr now. Our daughter recently turned 2. I am a homemaker and artist, so I stay home with her during the day. As much as I love playing with her, she needs to be around other kids. We would like her to have a few friends that are more constant than the kids she meets at the playground and library. Our daughter, Emma, is very smart for her age. She loves animals, books, crafts, playgrounds, going for exploration walks and being out in nature. She is very healthy and extremely sweet! She eats an extremely healthy diet. We try to make every experience a learning experience with her.

My Mother-In-Law is an Elementary School Teacher and so is a good friend of mine in Raleigh. I can provide reliable character references. I have also worked in an optometry office with children. Although I am no longer certified, I have had First Aid and CPR training in the past. First and foremost, I am a mom. I know my child very well because I listen to her and pay attention to everything she does. I am willing and able to to that for your child as well.

Please contact me if this sounds like something you might be interested in. In the long run, it may even give us parents a good opportunity to have a night off once in a while by taking turns watching the kids in the evenings.

I am 22 years old. I am pursuing a degree in education and psychology at Appalachian State. I am looking to find a family who would need me for 15+ hours per week, but certainly willing to take whatever I can get until that comes along. I have been babysitting for about 10 years for children ranging from newborns to teenagers. In high school, I worked as a mentor for special needs children between ages 4 and 12 for all four years.
