Occupational Therapist Needed ASAP
Occupational Therapist needed for Home Health. Will be working with all age patients & will provide occupational therapy services. Participates in administrative, operational and clinical functions of the Home Health Agency.

This is a Full-time 8 hr. shift Monday-Friday

Key Responsibilities:
o Provides occupational therapy services according to departmental and professional standards of care.
o Participates in the education of staff, students and volunteers by sharing responsibility for both the numbers of requests and quality of feedback from participants.
o Participates with program development and implementation as determined by departmental needs.
o Participation in interdisciplinary team meetings/clinics as indicated by department/organization needs.
o Participates in PI activities by maintaining acceptable level of personal achievement and assisting with data collection and analysis.
o Maintains technical and clinical competency according to department/organization/professional standards.

Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy.
Licensure, Registry or Certification Required: Licensed by applicable state of Occupational Therapy.
Special Training: Demonstrates clinical competency based on patient’s age; computer literacy a plus. CPR certified

Oversee, supervise, educate and evaluate Physical Therapy Assistants’ performance in implementing physical therapy services.
Provide hands-on care, case management and evaluation of the care plan, and education of the patient utilizing care notes.
Has the autonomy to make individualized patient-centered decisions for optimal clinical care.

Qualifications
Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Program (approved by the APTA)
A minimum of one year physical therapy experience preferred
Home Health experience a plus
Physical Therapy licensure from applicable state in which you are applying
Current CPR certification
Good organizational and communication skills
