Beautiful 8.0 carat star ruby (Boone) $400

I am selling an 8.0 carat star ruby, unmounted (it is 14mm x 10mm, cut as a cabochon). For every 100 rubies found, approximately 3 are star rubies, which puts it as somewhat rare. This ruby was found rough in the ground by myself and cut by Doc of Doc's Rocks, Blowing Rock, NC. It has great color, but the star isn't very strong. The camera pictures (it is not a great camera) do not do it justice. I went to Foggy Mountain Gem Mine, where an unofficial appraisal of the gemologist (book value after looking at it) reported it as ~$550. It is unmounted, so it can be placed in a ring or as a pendant easily. I am looking for $400 or best offer.

White Gold Diamond Ring Set (Vilas)

I have a 1/2ct white gold Engagement Ring that was purchased on discount for $800 and a 1/4ct white gold Diamond Wedding Band to match for $400. The rings were purchased at the end of September in 2006. They have sat in the box for the past two years, they were only worn for a couple months. The Wedding band is white gold with Princess cut diamonds and the Engagement ring is Princess cut diamonds and Baguette diamonds on the sides. A beautiful set and is practically brand new, still in the box.

These are not actual pictures of them because I do not have a camera but I got those pictures from Helzberg Diamonds website. They look just as new and shiny.
