Alternative folk duo (CAIN & ANNABELLE) seek bandmates

Cain & Annabelle are currently an alternative folk duo and want to expand to a full band. We toured extensively over the summer and got very good response and are currently working on new material and booking for the spring and summer of 2010. The Fustics @ Murphy's Friday Night!!!

Looking for working band (North Carolina)

Hello,

I am a musician in the Athens, OH area looking to find a working band in the mountain country of North Carolina. I have 25 years of road experience, I can sing any part and I am fluent on the upright or acoustic basses as well as the drum kit (I do not pound the hell out of it!). I can hit the mark with an acoustic guitar, trombone and I am currently getting a sousaphone under control. Though I tend towards the acoustic and bluegrass types of music, I can do R&B, funk, dixieland and New Orleans jazz, as well as any variety of rock you might like. I also play in a Beatles band, the Lennon Orchestra.

I also have extensive booking experience (I currently book Jackie O’s Pub & Brewery) and a variety of industry contacts. My main interest is playing and performing music. It's what I do, it is my passion. Following are some links to projects I am currently involved in.

Looking for pianist to accompany handbells at nursing home (Boone)

I'm an undergraduate student at Appalachian that is studying music, theatre, and dance and interested in Music Therapy. I just purchased a handbell set and would like to meet at a nursing home in Boone every other week and give the residents an opportunity to listen and participate in songs from their era. I need someone who can read sheet music and is willing to volunteer to play piano. No extra practice is required outside of the actual session. I feel this is a great way to give back to this generation and have positive influence on their lives.Thanks for the consideration.
