Budding TV Host Seeks Agent/Manager

Budding TV host with eight years of on-camera experience, 10 years as a journalist/writer, and four public TV (PBS) programs to her credit seeks manager and/or agent.

My first interview program was so well received, the station aired it repeatedly in the weeks following its debut.

I've also received excellent feedback from longtime industry professionals on both coasts.

I'll be a guest on a popular ABC-San Francisco TV talk show (hosted by Spencer Christian of GMA) in two months. We'll be discussing my recent entree into TV hosting, and I'd like to position myself to make the most of this considerable exposure. (The show streams live and is archived on the Web.)

What I am NOT looking to do is to become an Entertainment Tonight-style celebrity interviewer.

My end goal is to target arts/culture, lifestyle, history, education programming. Think Terry Gross, NPR, PBS, History Channel....

In the meantime, I am open to infomercials, video hosting, children's programs -- in short, any hosting and/or spokesperson work. In the next year, I would like to gain enough experience to compete in a broader talent pool.

Please view my reel at

Thank you so much.

need to record a rap...? (mass)

Not sure who i need to hire here....but we made a short film which we are about to submit to film festivals. we also wrote a comedic rap to go with it, that will play over the credits. The rap is good, so we wanted to record it professionally, or at least as professionally as possible
something a little more than just looping a beat and having me rap over it. it has three verses and a hook. but i think at parts the beat should change, speed up, slow down, be different for the hook. if there could be some sound effects every now and then that would be great.
we don't have much money left in the budget, but please let me know what you would like if you can do this. also there is a credit availble in the film for whatever yuo would like

Special Effects Makeup Studio Looking For Photoshop Wizards (Woburn, MA)

Hello,

My name is Ben Bornstein and I am a local Make-Up artist in Boston that works in the film industry. (I run a Special Effects Make-Up Lab in Woburn, MA) I have a job that I'm bidding on currently and I need an artist who can help with some Make-Up design to transform people into characters using their headshots on Photoshop or Illustrator.

I would love to see your illustrations (especially storyboards) and Photoshop work along with your resumes. I encourage all artists to send what you have through email.

This could very easily lead to other work in the future (I know people on here say that all the time then don't hire you back, but I have a strong feeling that my business will do well here). Considering this is just a "pitch" to the producer of a movie in pre-production, there is no budget at this time, unfortunately. If the job comes through, I can pay you for your time.

If you would like to see my work, go to italentco.com

Thanks for reading

Ben

Executive Producer For Low Budget Feature Film (South Boston)

“No Perfect Crime”

By Bill Kelly WGA Copyright

Synopsis

As a Boston Police cadet in the academy, we learned about Modus Operandi. According to the Dictionary it explains it this way “A distinct pattern or method of operation that indicates or suggests the work of a single criminal in more than one crime” But what if a killer decided to kill differently every time. Fifteen years later I’m a Homicide Detective based out of South Boston. We have a murder a week in Southie and they are not Mob related or Robbery related and they are people of all races and religions giving us no rhyme or reason for these people to be killed. And that the only thing that matched is that they are being killed in South Boston using sports items such as baseball bats, hockey sticks, golf clubs and more to cause Strangulation, Blunt force trauma and more. Ride along with me as we wait for this subject to make a mistake in a normally quiet Blue Collar neighborhood. And you won’t believe how we finally figured out how someone could get away with the perfect crime, only if he had not done his very last killing!

Cinematographer needed for upcoming web series (Boston, MA)

Hello and Welcome to my craigslist post

I am looking for a Cinematographer for an upcoming web series.

Short Synopsis
The Gentlemen, is about 5 college students along with their college care-taker who has been blessed and cursed by a mystic ancient energy called “Zin Energy” which is a glowing red crystal shape energy that is fused within the spirit of twins; which gives them the ability or power to do anything that the energy possesses. A wealthy and psychotic man named “Simone Covington” known in the series for just “Covington”, which as well possess Zin Energy, has grown obsessed with the energy after accidentally killing his brother out of rage and absorbing his energy. This made him feel stronger and more invincible, he had to have more, and his obsession grew to a heinous thirst as he killed off more individuals and absorbed their Zin Energy to become stronger. The 5 college students along with their college care-taker decide to take on Covington and the rest of his army of Bad Zin criminals and rid them out of existence; for if they fail, Covington will not only kill and absorb their energy, and he will become immortal.

The story line gets deeper, and I would love to share more with you if you are interested. My initial plan was to record a half or a whole season of my web series, then burn them to a DVD and take it to LA with me next summer to pitch it to studio executives. I have cast off some of my characters, but the only problem is, the guy who was my producer and my director backed out on me last notice to focus on another project he wanted to do for so long and was waiting for sponsorship, so I am currently out of a Film maker/Director, and I am in desperate need of some help.

What I am looking for

• Male or Female cinematographer with his or her own equipment (Camera, etc)
• Must be able to work some weekdays (Not all weekdays but selected days) and weekends (Not all weekends but selected days)
• Must be able to act, because you might cameo in the series or possible be in the series.
• Must be fun and full of ideas
• Be able to join a team of creative people to help boost each others career.

Unfortunately this isn’t a paid gig, but you will have further exposure and next summer me and the cinematographer will be going to take our recordings to LA to pitch it to studio executives, since I have friends who work at (Universal Studios). If this is you and you want to learn more. Please email me at…

I look forward to hearing from you.
