Photographers - Affordable Shared Studio Space in Downtown Boston (Boston)

Boston Studio Photography (BSP) is a 3000 sq ft member shared photography studio and client meeting facility located in the heart of downtown Boston. It is available to a limited number of members who wish to maintain photo studio space in downtown Boston without the hassles and costs of your own studio. Having a Boston studio address is powerful advantage in establishing your photography business. The facility is located in the Northeastern University area, very close to both Rte 93, and the Mass Pike as well as a T station.

What is in the Studio? The studio resides in 3000 ft2 of dedicated, private space. The studio consists of four 400 ft2 shooting bays, client meeting space, storage space and private restrooms. Each bay can be opened up so you can also make 800 ft2, 1200 ft2 and 1600 ft2 shooting areas. The studio has 20 oversized windows on two walls flooding the interior with natural light. You are invited to bring and conveniently store your own lights and backdrops to use in your shoots. There is also a freight elevator for transporting equipment.

When can I use the studio? The operating hours of the studio are 8:00am to 10:00pm, 7 days/week. You are free to use the studio at any time during these hours after you have reserved your time. You will have your own key, which will give you access to the building.

How do I reserve my shooting time? Using an online calendar you will see which times are available to book and you simply log in to book your times. Once you book your session that studio bay is yours to use for the time you defined.

How often can I shoot? A lot! Any day time available on the calendar. In addition we will be organizing a Monthly Group Model Shoot and other events at $100 cost for any photographer, as to the member they can participate at 50% off.

What is the cost? The membership cost ranges from $130 a month to $160 a month depending on if you pay month to month or annually. This is a STEAL for unlimited shooting space in downtown Boston.

When will I be able to start? We are now accepting applicants for April 1st.

every Wednesday night, 7:00 pm - 8:15 pm


at the Arlington Robbins Library
4th Floor Conference Room -- or Basement Community Room

Some schedule adjustments (all meetings 7:00 to 8:15):

• March 30--TUESDAY meeting at the Library.
  
• March 31--no meeting.
  
• April 7--meeting held at the Unitarian Universalist Church (next to the Library)
  

All other meetings will be Wednesday nights at the Library as scheduled.



There are no dues or fees. We share our experience, strength and hope about our common problem with clutter.
