Lost iPod Touch (Gloucester)

I lost my 8gb iPod Touch on Wednesday, November 18 possibly at or near The Fitness Zone in Gloucester. I was there until 8:45pm and had it when packing up to leave, and noticed it missing around 9pm. if you find it please contact me, its boring going to the gym without it!

My credit cards / store cards are held together on a binder clip. I left it on my car accidentally and it must have fallen off somewhere while I was in Milton recently (on the morning/early afternoon of Wednesday the 18th). Oops.

I tried to call it over, but it was very skittish and took off up the alleyway across from 160 Gardner Street. LOST Certificate on Green Line (Green Line)

I left the an art certificate from the Mass Cultural Council on the back of the train on the E line at the Museum stop around 5:30pm. It's approximately 11"x14" and is inside a folded thick dark blue sheet of paper with frayed edges. When you open the blue cover paper, the certificate looks a lot like a diploma- lots of calligraphy, seals and signatures. My name is on it as well, my initials are CR. I got off the train in a hurry and realized it wasn't in my hand just as the train pulled away. If you found it and can return it, I would appreciate it.

Hi, I'm looking for my son's blue wool winter hat that fell out of my pocket while we went on a walk this morning somewhere on Home, Bow, or Cabot Streets in Beverly. REWARD!! - LOST GREY/BLACK/BROWN/WHITE TABBY CAT (Easton, MA (everywhere))

GIZMO has been missing since July 16th, this is very unlike our Gizmo to do this! He is a 5-6 year old grey/black/brown/white tabby cat. He has very minor scars on one of his ears, a cataract in one eye (blurry/foggy), and has nasal congestion problems, and meows like a cat in heat, he may seem like a stray BUT HE IS NOT!!! He is a very sweet male cat who usually comes when he is called, but I am unsure if he will do the same with strangers. He could either be very shy with strangers or very affectionate, purring and rubbing up against your legs. He gets along with our other cats and dog so he might be the same way with yours. He could be anywhere now because it has been over 4 months since he has been missing! FYI, my cat does not have white paws or a white bib, only some under his chin, he is pretty much all tabby.

If you have any information on our missing cat it would be greatly appreciated! We miss him so much and things are not the same without him!

Lost: Thermos cap (no joke) (Good Harbor, Gloucester)

You heard right.

Last night I drove up to Good Harbor from Wayland, MA with some friends to see the Leonid meteor shower. I had packed my favorite thermos filled with delicious hot chocolate. When we reached the beach the end of the boardwalk, I prepared to pour some cups of cocoa goodness for my friends. In order to keep the thermos cap free of sand, I put it down on a six-foot post that I thought was made of solid wood. Upon doing so, I quickly discovered that the post was actually a hollow metal tube. The darn thing devoured my thermos cap!

So here's the deal: Since I'm a big fan of (1) my thermos, (2) not burning fossil fuels unnecessarily, and (3) the thrill of making long-shot requests on craigslist, I thought I would ask if there is any local Good Samaritan with a sense of humor and sense of adventure, who would stop by Good Harbor and retrieve this not-so-buried treasure. The red cap is clearly visible with a flashlight if you peer down from the top of the tube. It's just begging to be plucked out of its prison by a long pole with a piece of duct tape or chewing gum at the end of it.

You can't miss this omnivorous and villainous pipe. If you enter the parking lot and take the first boardwalk on your left, it'll take you right to it. The pipe's opening is probably 5in in diameter, and the cap appears to be lying on sand that's approximately the same as ground level, approximately six feet below the opening.

If you retrieve the cap and mail it to me by normal USPS snail mail, I will send you remuneration for the shipping as well as a thank you present—most likely in the form of delicious homebaked goods.

If you think this is a scam, you are clearly not as earnest and silly a person as I am. C'mon...what have you got to lose?

Lost jewelry REWARD (Boston/Brookline)

I lost several pieces of very precious jewelry, that I recently inherited after my mother's death. I think it may have accidently been put into a large donation (8 bags of clothing & housewares) that was given to charity.
Some of the pieces are a watch, a gold bracelet with diamonds, 2 diamond rings, silver, gold & topaz earrings, a long gold necklace set with stones. They are all women's pieces.

Tabby Cat Found (Cambridge Raymond rd)

I'm updating this posting as I has originally thought the cat was male. I found a female tabby with big green eyes, big belly, skinny tail. I found out today that she's already spayed and is 7-8 years old; the pic shows her face, but this is a big 12lb girl, in order to get her to look at the camera, I had to hold her head & she looks skinnier than she really is. The cat was found at the intersection of Upland & Raymond in Cambridge. She purrs alot, likes to hide in closets. (I promise I did not choke the cat)

Still Lost - Orange and White Cat (Hudson/Anywhere)

Our much-loved outdoor/indoor cat, Rusty, went missing from his home on Cornish Drive in Hudson, MA on October 12th. He may have inadvertently been transported in a truck to another area and could be anywhere now. He has medium length, mostly orange, fur, with big white paws (extra toes in front) and a fluffy orange tail. He is very fun-loving and affectionate with family, but is generally wary of strangers (not sure how he would act if very hungry or cold though...). Hello! We found this little guy in our back yard last week. He had been in a fight with another animal.. Though He looked well fed, he was very hungry. He does not have a Collar.. and we were worried just leaving him in the cold. Our fear is he is someone's beloved family pet... and he snuck out of the house. We would like to find his owners! He is VERY friendly. and domesticated. Dont get me wrong, we would LOVE to offer this guy a home. But, will search for his family for now. If my cat got out, I would be so sad, and hope someone would do the same.

He is an all black short hair neutered 10 year old male cat with a very small white patch on belly between back legs, it's hard to see the white patch unless he rolls over (see pic below). He’s missing from Larch Street in Oak Square, Brighton. It's been a while, who knows where he could have traveled by now! He was wearing a white reflective collar with a black border and a bell, it is a safety collar and may have come off. He is a very long cat and weighs about 16 lbs. although may have lost weight by now. Looks kind of like a baby panther. He has a microchip ID. to positively identify him at a shelter, vet or animal control officer. He may have been taken in by someone or may be living as a stray, he has a heart murmur and needs medication twice daily. Lost Wallet 16Nov'09 9:30pm (Hynes T Stop - Green Dline to Rvrside)

Lost my wallet, worn-out brown, some cash-receipts, but care more about cards and other knick-knacks in there.

Most likely could have been found in the Hynes T stop, outbound side. i was sitting on the wooden bench towards the outbound tunnel and it could have fallen out of my pocket.

Otherwise, I jumped onto a D-Line T and got off a Longwood about 9:30pm, Monday Night 16Nov'09.

Found Siamese mix Female Cat (salem ma)

Hello,
a friend of mine found a female mix siames around the salem jail area , the side street to the right of old jail. She is a pretty kitty . she look to me like a husky in her face or a wolf,with blue loving eyes. with patches of brown on her back and tail,, she is such a sweaty, she is very very sweet, but i have animals and she allows you to pet her,, she needs her owners or a person who understands this breed of cat. these cats like to be the only animal well this on does. Its not fair to her to see my cats running around playing and she sits there crouched, disengaged.
If you have a warm spot in your heart and have no other animals would you please consider taking in this beautiful girl , she is petite and thin,, she was starved half to death when she found her,, this girl had to leave her place and left her in my care , the cat eats loves attention, but is not good around other cats or a dog. she is not afraid of my dog,,

My cat went out Wednesday Nov 11 and hasn't come home since. She is a petite, long haired orange and white cat, she's five years old. I live on the Lowell/Dracut line. Tonight we found a cat who came up to my mother-in-laws door. He was ravenously hungry and meowing up a storm.
The cat has two collars. One is a green striped flea collar and the other is a regular collar. There is no ID tag on either collar. He is orange/golden striped in color.
