The Lab Series L6 100W 115 is a solid-state, 1 channel amp with 100W output to 1 15" ported speaker. It is a good, solid, heavy bass amp, but you can use it for whatever instrument. On the face of the amp there are two inputs (marked "HI" and "LO"), a switch labeled "DEEP", a preamp volume control, a bass tone control, two knobs for midrange tone control (a frequency knob and a cut/boost knob), a treble tone control, a limiter switch, a master volume, a 1/4" preamp line-out and a 1/4" power amp line-in. The main features of this amp are ample (and clean) volume, fairly versatile tone controls, and a limiter. The tone control section provides an adjustable midrange control that sweeps from 100Hz to 2kHz, plus or minus 4dB. That is unusual for an amp, and it allows more tone shaping than most amps of this age and price range. If you're one of those folks who doesn't rely on amps for effects, but you like the amp to do its job cleanly, this amp really performs on that front. The 15" speaker helps a lot, since most guitar amps have 12" speakers at best. For instruments with a naturally deep sound, this amp shines (1/20/04 - Harmony Central). $200 or best offer.

Gibson Les Paul Junior Special Plus Flametop (Watertown/Plymouth ) $875

Beautiful and rare Gibson Les Paul Special Plus sold for $1700 new and Blue Book of Electric Guitars lists it at $1125 but you can't find them for that. It's a Junior only due to the non carved top. All other appointments are top of the line Gibson and as follows.................."Special" features 490r humbucker in neck and 498t in bridge position. The "Plus" denotes the gold hardware, upgraded tuners and figured maple flame top. This LP has tons of sustain without the heavy weight of a standard LP. It is in excellent condition and unfortunately the pictures do not do the beautiful amber flame top justice. These guitars are selling on Ebay for $1000-$1300 but I want to sell it locally. Old Nagoya Suzuki #18 guitar (winthrop) $40

I'd like to sell my used Korean-made Montaya FR-42 Acoustic Guitar since I
hardly ever get to play it now.

It's a beautiful instrument and the sound is nice although not exceptional.

It has new Martin strings (80/20 Bronze, light, $8), less than 6 months old.
The only real problem is that two of the tuning pegs are broken (see photo),
so I tend to use a pair of pliers when I tune it.
