Primary Function
Manage and prepare cost estimates for bidding of heavy civil, transit, and transportation construction projects, including and up to approximately $2 billion plus to include all essential elements and steps necessary for a successful bid; including identifying potential bidding opportunities; receiving and reviewing bid documents; assigning and assuming responsibilities for complete estimate assembly; from Bid Package to Bid/Proposal and beyond as needed for effective and efficient project start up on awarded projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
> Organization and review of plans and specifications.
> Preparation of cost estimates for both hard-money and proposal bidding. This includes cost estimate preparation utilizing Estimating Software (currently HCSS), and to-do-so, analyzing and establishing means, methods, production rates, and schedules.
> Preparation of written proposals.
> Presentation of cost estimates/proposals before in-house management, joint venture partners, and owners/engineers.
> Management and training of Junior Estimators.
> Coordination with other Estimators and Consultants.
> Quantity Take-offs from plans utilizing various means, such as scaling, planimeter, digitizer, and On-Screen Take-off program.
> Preparation of sketches, illustrations, and composites for use in estimate preparation and review.
> Preparation of Sub/Supplier quotation request packages, communication with Subs/Suppliers, and collection and review of quotations.
> Estimate close-out including Sub/Supplier Quote Comparisons.
> Support of HCSS; rate entry, Bid Item entry, etc.

Qualifications and Experience
> 4 year Civil Engineering or Construction Management Degree and construction experience, or equivalent combinations of technical training and construction experience.
> Knowledge of plan reading and interpretation, take-off, MS-Excel software, construction means, methods, and productions, scheduling, and common sense are a must.
> Knowledge of MS-Word, Scheduling, MS-PowerPoint, On-Screen Take-off, digitizer, and/or HCSS software are pluses.
> 10 to 15 years estimating experience in Heavy Civil, Transit, and Transportation construction.
> Ideally will have worked in Project Manager/Project Engineer/Project Superintendent position(s) providing valuable field and management/supervisory Heavy Civil, Transit, and Transportation experience to apply while assembling estimates and managing other estimators.
> Experience in Light Rail, Commuter Rail, and Streetcar estimating and construction an important plus.

This position is responsible for elevator installation, building elevators and dumbwaiters. Repair broken elevators, modernize older models, and perform maintenance duties. Work will be performed in all types of buildings, brick and stone construction and low rise office buildings. Most elevators run electronically and contain microprocessors for efficient operation, although some rely on counterweight or hydraulic systems. Ability to study blueprints to see how the elevator car functions and will need to be repaired to "like-new" operating condition. Repair of the hoisting machine, frame, and the platform, body and the roof of the car as necessary. Install other machinery, plungers, cables, hydraulic systems, and the electrical wiring in the car and from the floor to floor in the elevator shaft and testing to see that elevator is operating properly. This position may also convert old, manually operated elevators to automatic elevators.

Denver, CO based Multinational Utility company is looking for a Technical/ Enterprise Architect for its Minneapolis, MN, or Denver, CO location. Looking for a very technical architect with extensive experience with large scale Microsoft environments.

Develop reference architecture and standards for desktops, including distribution, asset management and overall desktop environment. Overview
The National Ecological Observatory Network (NEON, Inc.) is a nonprofit science corporation dedicated to understanding how changes in climate, land use and invasive species impact ecology. Currently under design is the NEON project - an observatory comprising more than 60 environmental and biological monitoring locations distributed throughout twenty domains across the United States, Hawaii, Alaska & Puerto Rico. These observations and experiments will be monitored and controlled in real-time from our headquarters in Boulder, Colorado.

Location and Term Requirements:
•This is a contract position with an expected timeframe of 3 months
•Position will be based in Boulder CO

Summary:
Provide temporary support for the NEON Operation Review.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
•Work with the systems engineering team in its requirements definition effort by helping to manage and develop system level requirements, define verification and traceability, and incorporate requirements into DOORS
•Updating systems engineering procedures and plans to reflect how we will execute system engineering controls (configuration management, risk management, etc.) on the project
•Support the systems engineering team in executing risk management (identification, developing mitigation, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications:
