Need help with 4x4 1987 e250 cargo van (Boulder)

I have an e250 4x4 cargo van. It needs a variety of work.

Bearings in the rear diff are going out and seals are leaking. Rear axel is a Dana 60 with 4:11 gears. Needs to be rebuilt or replaced.

Transfer case has leaky seals and probably needs to be rebuilt.. or replaced.

Front driveshaft needs to be rebuilt or replaced.

Stearing linkage has a problem I haven't identified yet.. it "hangs" occasionally. Something is sticking.

Engine has some seal leaks, nothing severe.

Not totally happy with the engine nor the transmission.

Engine is a Ford 300 i6 that runs like a top. Great for around town, not too brisk in the mountains. Would love a 460.

Transmission is a c6 3 speed. Even though the c6 is strong, I would really like to have more gears.

There's a lot of work to be done, would like to do it in stages starting with the rear diff.

I currently have no shop, not even a garage, and very few tools. I also have limited mechanical knowledge. All of this work would be a learning experience if I had the time a space to do it.

I know of two really great local shops, but I can't afford the $95 an hour to rebuild the xfer case and rear diff. I'm also a bit uneasy about buying replacement parts as I don't want to buy something I can't use.

FREE - Indoor RV Storage (Boat Possible) (South Boulder)

I will store your RV (or possibly boat) indoors for the winter in my garage for FREE. What's the catch? All I ask is that I can use your RV to sleep in while I undertake some construction and remodeling projects inside my house.

The garage door has 12' clearance and can accommodate a vehicle up to 30' (27' or less would probably be most practical). If you have a fairly accommodating boat that fits the bill I might consider that too. Use of facilities in the RV would be minimal as I still have access to the kitchen and bathrooms inside the house, but heat/electrical/plumbing hookups should be functional. I can be fairly flexible on the timing and duration of the arrangement, but am prepared to move forward very soon if there is a good match.
