For sale is an 09 Gary Fisher Mendota hybrid bicycle. The Mendota is an excellent commuter. Reasonably light and fast, yet more comfortable than a full on road bike with a more forgiving geometry. This was part of their "Fast City" series or similar to Trek "Fitness" hybrids (FX series). This bike has been ridden less than 15 miles and has been in storage ever since its purchase. Crazy heavy duty lock (Kryptonite NY Fahgettaboudit clone) New (Boulder, CO) $20
The number one crime in Boulder County is bike theft.
One of the best bike locks on the market is a Kryptonite Fahgettaboudit. These usually retail around $100.
How about a brand new lock identical to a Kryptonite Fahgettaboudit in EVERY way for $20?
What it doesn't come with is the $3750 insurance policy that you can get with the Kryptonite lock. However, that insurance costs $20 for three years, you HAVE to sign up for it within 15 days of buying the lock, and you have to send in a copy of the original receipt for the bike you want to insure. If you don't have that receipt, or aren't the original owner of the bike, you have to have a professional appraisal done on your bike in lieu of the original receipt. However, the insurance is misleading. It isn't full insurance. If you have a homeowners or renters insurance policy it ONLY covers the deductible. In order to get your deductible back from Kryptonite you have to send in a copy of the police report and the pieces of the broken lock. You can check all of this out by calling Kryptonite at 1-800-SAY-LOCK. Still reading?

Family Set of Raleigh Coasting Cruiser Hybrid Bikes (Erie, CO ) $950
Two Raleigh Coasting Cruiser Hybrid Bikes for sale - a man's bike and a woman's bike. These are super cool bikes - we always get lots of compliments on them. Clean and simple design - brakes are on the pedals (remember when you were a kid and all you had to do to stop/slow was back pedal - that's it!), and both bikes are equipped with Shimano Automatic Shifting Transmission (3-gears) - so you are always in the right gear! You don't have any messy cables to deal with! These bikes are very comfortable, stitched leather handle grips, large seats; the upright riding stance is very natural. Also, both bikes have a "luggage rack" on the front - it holds a 6-pack perfectly and has a built in bottle opener! The back tire is also equipped with a bracket that you can strap things to, but we primarily used it to hold the child's booster seat. The "CoPilot" booster seat holds a child safely, up to 40 pounds and is easily interchangeable between the two bikes. If you have twins, you could get another seat and both parents could have a kid! The women's bike also comes with a trip odometer - it tells you your speed, trip distance, and all sorts of other neat stuff!
These are a great way to ride around as a family - to the store, around the neighborhood, to school! We've had a lot of fun with these - our baby has outgrown the seat.... we just thought we would try to sell rather than take apart all of the kid stuff. This entire set we bought brand new for over $1,100. They are very gently used - in great condition. I have more photos, email and I will respond.

Mavic Cross Ride Hub (rear) and Spokes (flat) (Boulder) $60
Selling a hub that i used a couple of years ago (on a complete wheelset . . . before i destroyed the rim on apex trail in golden). Neither the hub nor the 24 spokes were damaged however and have only technically been taken on three rides. This hub is so fresh, it looks like it's only 5 grams but can hold so much force it is really brilliantly designed with its international standard disk brake mount. Not to mention, the spokes are flat, seriously awesome when fully installed with the rim. Take a look at the pix, questions are welcome and my price is negotiable.

These wheels just came off of a road bike that is being converted to a fixed gear. The rims are in used condition, but still work fine and are true. They jsut need to have the bearing greased up. The tires are Univega Grand Touring 27 x 1 1/8. They still have a lot tread left, but may need to be replaced soon. The tubes still hold plenty of air. There is a 5 speed cassette on the rear wheel that can either be replaced or used. these are a great cheap replacement wheel set, or back up.

When I looked online for brand new and used CC Volos I found that they were going from

09 Gary Fisher Mendota Hybrid (Boulder) $550
For sale is an 09 Gary Fisher Mendota hybrid bicycle. The Mendota is an excellent commuter. Reasonably light and fast, yet more comfortable than a full on road bike with a more forgiving geometry. This was part of their "Fast City" series or similar to Trek "Fitness" hybrids (FX series). This bike has been ridden less than 15 miles and has been in storage ever since its purchase. The bike is in pristine condition and looks brand new. It is a 19'' frame and would work for people approx 5'4"-5'10". This bike brand new retails over $1000. Asking $550 obo.

Crazy heavy duty lock (Kryptonite NY Fahgettaboudit clone) New (Boulder, CO) $20
The number one crime in Boulder County is bike theft.
One of the best bike locks on the market is a Kryptonite Fahgettaboudit. These usually retail around $100.
How about a brand new lock identical to a Kryptonite Fahgettaboudit in EVERY way for $20?
What it doesn't come with is the $3750 insurance policy that you can get with the Kryptonite lock. However, that insurance costs $20 for three years, you HAVE to sign up for it within 15 days of buying the lock, and you have to send in a copy of the original receipt for the bike you want to insure. If you don't have that receipt, or aren't the original owner of the bike, you have to have a professional appraisal done on your bike in lieu of the original receipt. However, the insurance is misleading. It isn't full insurance. If you have a homeowners or renters insurance policy it ONLY covers the deductible. In order to get your deductible back from Kryptonite you have to send in a copy of the police report and the pieces of the broken lock. You can check all of this out by calling Kryptonite at 1-800-SAY-LOCK. Still reading?

Family Set of Raleigh Coasting Cruiser Hybrid Bikes (Erie, CO ) $950
Two Raleigh Coasting Cruiser Hybrid Bikes for sale - a man's bike and a woman's bike. These are super cool bikes - we always get lots of compliments on them. Clean and simple design - brakes are on the pedals (remember when you were a kid and all you had to do to stop/slow was back pedal - that's it!), and both bikes are equipped with Shimano Automatic Shifting Transmission (3-gears) - so you are always in the right gear! You don't have any messy cables to deal with! These bikes are very comfortable, stitched leather handle grips, large seats; the upright riding stance is very natural. Also, both bikes have a "luggage rack" on the front - it holds a 6-pack perfectly and has a built in bottle opener! The back tire is also equipped with a bracket that you can strap things to, but we primarily used it to hold the child's booster seat. The "CoPilot" booster seat holds a child safely, up to 40 pounds and is easily interchangeable between the two bikes. If you have twins, you could get another seat and both parents could have a kid! The women's bike also comes with a trip odometer - it tells you your speed, trip distance, and all sorts of other neat stuff!
These are a great way to ride around as a family - to the store, around the neighborhood, to school! We've had a lot of fun with these - our baby has outgrown the seat.... we just thought we would try to sell rather than take apart all of the kid stuff. This entire set we bought brand new for over $1,100. They are very gently used - in great condition. I have more photos, email and I will respond.

Mavic Cross Ride Hub (rear) and Spokes (flat) (Boulder) $60
Selling a hub that i used a couple of years ago (on a complete wheelset . . . before i destroyed the rim on apex trail in golden). Neither the hub nor the 24 spokes were damaged however and have only technically been taken on three rides. This hub is so fresh, it looks like it's only 5 grams but can hold so much force it is really brilliantly designed with its international standard disk brake mount. Not to mention, the spokes are flat, seriously awesome when fully installed with the rim. Take a look at the pix, questions are welcome and my price is negotiable.

These wheels just came off of a road bike that is being converted to a fixed gear. The rims are in used condition, but still work fine and are true. They jsut need to have the bearing greased up. The tires are Univega Grand Touring 27 x 1 1/8. They still have a lot tread left, but may need to be replaced soon. The tubes still hold plenty of air. There is a 5 speed cassette on the rear wheel that can either be replaced or used. these are a great cheap replacement wheel set, or back up.

When I looked online for brand new and used CC Volos I found that they were going from
350 to 550, used to new so I feel like this is a pretty good deal.

The cleats are recessed, so you can walk comfortably. The insteps of the shoes measure 10 inches. The tread on the soles show almost no sign of wear.
