Local Commercial Shoot Seeking Onscreen Talent (Boulder)

I am currently working with a group of filmmakers to put together an advertising campaign for a local company here in Boulder. The company offers high quality, all natural, pet supplements with an emphasis on health and low environmental impact business. We are doing a series of films featuring a total of 4 products. Each film will have a narrative component to it, which will necessitate highly camera comfortable talent in order to achieve the validity we are going for. The films will be featured extensively in pet stores around the country--including several big chains-- as well as the company's website, youtube, facebook, and other internet venues. Additionally, the films will be used for day to day business purposes such as conferences and sales presentations, and will likely be featured as part of a series of training films.



This will not be an intensive process for most actors but will absolutely be an opportunity for aspiring or accomplished actors and actresses to add to their portfolio, gain experience, and gain exposure.

Live in nanny/housekeeper (Boulder/Longmont)

I am looking for a live in nanny/housekeeper. The hours will be relatively flexible - most weeks about 10-15 hours and we can discuss the specifics that can suit both our needs. My kids are older - they are both boys in 1st and 2nd grade. They are in school from 8:15 until 3:30 during the week. I mostly need help with cleaning and with the boys on the weekends when I want to go for a bike ride or need to run errands. I am a single mom with full custody. I have an extra car that the nanny can also use, but must maintain and carry their own insurance if using for personal use.

I am a professional who works from home in the Information Technology field. I usually just work while the kids are in school and some evenings.

My home is very nice and large and offers a private suite on a separate floor for the live-in as well as a garage space.

Duties will include watching the boys for a few hours during the week and on weekends, occasionally driving them to football/lacrosse/swim practice, occassional homework help, and housework (errands, cleaning, and laundry).

I am very neat and clean and like a tidy home and would like my live-in to be the same. I also would like an active person willing to take the boys outside often.

I do travel occasionally without the boys (2-3 times per year for work, and 2-3 times per year for pleasure and triathlon racing) and would like to have my live-in watch the boys full-time for that period.

Sorry, but I am not interested in a live-out person or someone with their own children living with them.

I also almost fell out my chair when reading this and then realized someone needs to educate those seeking help on costs associated with learning/utilizing knowledge for programmers.. your ad is almost insulting.

another point.. it costs Developers Time and Money to learn and practice development. It requires electric, computer, software, learning curves, and updates, as well as carpel tunnel syndrome, degrading vision, horrible social life, irate or unreasonable clients, and near reclusion to achieve what most people expect... and no this does not come cheap.. and hats off to those others out there who have achieved this milestone -- it is hard earned.

I need highlights! (longmont)

My roots are horrid so I need highlights ON MY ROOTS. Every place I have called is like $75+ and I know they are just going to mess up... So I would rather pay someone $30 (+ the cost of dye) and if they mess up I won't care. So if you know how to do highlights with foils and want to make $30 to do so please email me. :)

Directors Needed (North Boulder)

Hitching Post Theatre
We need 5 directors for a day of Theatre that will blow your mind.
Hitching Post Theatre gives directors, actors and writers 10 1/2 hours to create.
At 9AM producers will meet 5 writers who, at random will pick 2 headshots each, and then take the next 4 hours to write a 7-10 page short play. At 1PM we will bring the 5 plays to the waiting Actors and Directors and they will have till 7:30 get the plays memorized and up to performance quality. We will have 2 shows that night, one at 7:30 and one at 9:00.
Directors need to be able to coach and inspire actors to preform with very limited time. Sometimes it is your job to make sense of a play that my not make total sense.

If you do not hear back please come and check out the performance. This will be an ongoing project so there will be future opportunities to get involved. Hitching Post Theatre will happen the 2nd sunday of every month at 7:30 and 9:00 the Big Blue Barn in North Boulder. 1360 Sumac Ave Boulder, 80304 November 8th, Dec 13th.
