PhotoVu is a digital picture frame manufacturer that builds each product with the customer’s choice of frame and matboard. Our products start at $799 and go to well over $1500. Given our high-end products, you need to be able to balance a strong attention to detail while at the same time, be able to produce and ship in a small production type environment.

We are currently seeking a full time person (through Jan 31st and possibly longer for the right individual) who can primarily do some light assembly production of of digital picture frame units, but who can also help out on several other job tasks such as troubleshooting faulty units and doing some limited phone support of picture frames in the field.

Job Duties:

- Small volume assembly production work involving a strong attention to detail and quality while quickly assembling electronic chassis composed of circuit boards, wiring harnesses, LCD monitors, etc., similar to assembling and integrating a PC from scratch

- Working with manufacturing to understand the build schedule, update the build schedule, and order supplies, without constant supervision

- Answering the phone and providing basic troubleshooting to setup and configure the PhotoVu on a wireless or Ethernet network, as well as answering basic support and operational questions.

- Creating simple wiring cable assemblies

- Repairing units coming back for service, in and out of warranty, by troubleshooting and replacing basic power supply, motherboard, LCD panel and inverter failures. Basically, the same components that he or she would build on the production side.

- Packaging and shipping product

Experience:

- Some work history in an electronic production and assembly / light manufacturing environment
- Light soldering and cable wiring harness production
- Must be mechanically inclined
- Comfortable with computers to update order and manufacturing systems
- Basic troubleshooting skills to repair and replace circuit board components
- Familiarity with basic PC hardware a plus

- Set-up, tear-down, clean, and install complex process hardware

Anodizig Operator (Longmont)

Bolder Staffing, Inc. is searching for an Anodizing Operator to work with one of our clients in the Longmont area.

JOB DUTIES:

- Rotate and perform anodize operator tasks.
- Scoop and weigh dry chemicals. Lifts up to 25 pounds may be required.
- Start-up, operate, monitor, and maintain anodizing process.
- Use computer to monitor process, meter chemicals, etc.
- Change acid filters.
- Fill and change-out chemical drums or containers.
- Dispense chemical solutions from chemical containers.
- Use drum dollies, pallet jacks, and carts to move chemical containers, drums, cylinders, and hazardous waste drums weighing up to 750 pounds.
- Perform analytical tests on anodizing solutions (e.g.titrations, etc.).
- Clean anodizing room with water hoses and spray. Pressure washer is on wheels but handle is lifted which requires approximately 40 pounds of force. Frequency: Once/week

Previous experience in performing basic lab scale analysis (pH measurements, titrations, etc) in a manufacturing environment is a plus (this is not a lab environment).

Extensive on-the-job training will include mechanical, chemical, and electrical safety, product and process knowledge, robotics and process control systems, environmental and waste regulation (as they apply to the operator level), fork truck operation, and the use of web-based and PC tools for gathering and interpreting data.
