Video Game study-Locals & Out-of-Staters welcome $40-1hr (8-60yrs old) (Boulder)

Speed of Sound, Inc is a local speech recognition research company located in Boulder. Currently we are are performing a new data collection to control Video Games via voice commands. No "gaming" experience is necessary however.

We will be performing this collection from November 20th to the 25th.

For this project we are testing speech recognition applications for video gaming systems. Males and females 8-60 years old are welcome.
(Children will need parental consent and accompaniment in order to help with the study.)

You will be asked to wear a special microphone and read "gaming" type prompts and short sentences. Your participation will take
approximately one hour and will pay $40.

We have 3 rooms available running in parallel so you can schedule for yourself or schedule group times when friends and families can come to together to help with the study.

For this project you will meet us at our Boulder offices. (2111 30th Ave.)

We will be scheduling from 9am-8pm everyday including weekends until we have
completed the project.

We are looking for people with accents from across the country such as the South, West, Northeast and Midland.

Student Apartment Leasing Evaluator (Boulder CO)

A local area legal consulting firm is in need of participants for two discussion groups to learn about opinions and attitudes of potential jurors. Both discussion groups will be held on Thursday, November 19, 2009; the morning group will be from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and the afternoon group will be 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Both groups will be held in Boulder County. Participants can only attend one session.

Need a pet sitter-your place- this week for 2 dogs (Longmont to Boulder)

We need a pet sitter who can watch our 2 sweet dogs this week at YOUR place (like a doggie daycare) as we are getting a new roof this week and don't want them barking all day at the workers. They are up to date on shots, and are both neutered/spayed. One of our dogs is a recent rescue and does not have all the proper registrations yet.
