AMENDMENT 1 RIGHTS VIOLATION,,, and worse (Boulder)

My FICTION contest entry, titled "Al Qaeda School ", has gotten me marked as a terrorist.
2003, newly homeless after a bitter divorce from a right-wing-nut, I attempted to enter an online fiction contest.
I am a cripple who's auto's gas tank had been sugared by Boulder pigs, I found a no-fee online fiction contest and wrote the scariest story I could.
SCARED YOU STUPID SPOOKS, didn't it?.... I HAD a chance of winning but you fools deleted my entry from the library computer, and re-upped surveillance of library patron's use of public computers later that week, and claimed that it was a manifesto of hostility to the US of A.

NOTHING COULD BE FURTHER FROM THE TRUTH !
I had paid attention when 911 happened, the early reports mentioned that the attack was rumored to be a ruse of some sort - YEAH, it made everyone think that all attacks go "BOOM".

I saw a chance to earn a few hundred bucks ( I was sleeping outside ) AND to give my BEST PAUL REVERE over what I saw as an imminent and extremely dangerous possibility... that our foodstuffs were being poisoned by agents of Al Qaeda.

Well, either some powerfool saw a chance to upgrade HIS/HER standing by stomping on my civil rights; OR-You really are SO stupid that you can't tell fiction from fact ( maybe because you gpigs tell so many lies ); OR just MAYBE, poisoning the food supply is the governments way of avoiding a budget/social security/health-care costs calamity ( who needs health care if we're already dead from cancer ? ). ( I spelled things that way on purpose, idiots )

Chapter 2 There is no such word, in any language, as Al Qaeda

Al Qaeda School

They sat in folding chairs set up in the vacant warehouse. The security guard whose job it was to protect this complex knew that no deliveries or pickups were scheduled in the complex of metal buildings until the next shift began in six hours – and no one else would be watching the gates of the property. The next meeting would necessarily be somewhere else. . . there was little danger of detection, and even if her job was jeopardized, it didn’t affect the fulfillment of the cause for which they met.

A door opened. A nondescript man with a folder entered and walked into the focal point of the semi-circle of folding tables. He began without introductions.

“ You will be using the small aerosol devices placed in front of you. These contain a solution of radioactive materials. Depending on the assignment and availability, these may contain medical or industrial isotopes, or heavier isotpes such as deuterium, thorium, or plutonium .

“ Your group leaders will tell you how to minimize your own exposure and cleanse yourself in case of accidental contamnation so that you may serve our cause for a greater length of time.

“Today you will be instructed in the nature of radioactive materials. You do not need an advanced degree, or even a secondary school education – you need only know how to add single numbers, and to divide and multiply by two. You will become our greatest heroes, and the most powerful weapons against the people and principles of the Great Satan.

“Radioactive substances have what is called a half-life. This means that at the end of the period of time that is the half-life of a particular substance, half of that substance is depleted, and half remains. At the end of the period of time of an additional half-life, half of that amount remains.

“The effects of radiation are lethal, and non-lethal. After a material is depleted beyond a fatal exposure rate, it remains dangerous but non-fatal, for approximately the same length of time as it was able to produce fatal results. The same substance can initialy cause fatal or non-fatal results, depending on the rate of exposure, which is measured by roentgens per hour. Above a certain number of roentgens, exposure is eventually fatal.

“Any radioactive substance can produce a fatal reaction.

“Plutonium has a very long half-life, twenty-four thousand years, we are told. Industrial cesium has a half-life of about thirty years. Some medical isotopes have half-lives of five days or less. Do not be deceived by these numbers, as the effectiveness of radioactive substances lasts more than sixteen times the half-life of the substance.

“For example, the carpet of a room may be sprayed with enough cesium to create an exposure rate of roentgens-per-hour sufficient to cause an eventually fatal reaction after a one day exposure: thirty years later it will take a two day exposure to cause fatal reactions. After sixty years, it will take four days, after ninety years it will take eight days. After one hundred and twenty years it will take sixteen days. After one hundred-fifty years, 32 days, or about a month. After one hundred-eighty years, two months. After two hundred-ten years, four months. After two-hundred-forty years, eight months. After two hundred-seventy years, sixteen months. After three hundred years, it takes thirty-two months. After three-hundred-thirty years, sixty-four months, or about five years. After three-hundred-sixty years, it would take ten years of exposure to a single person to cause that person’s death. After three hundred-ninety years it would take twenty years. After four hundred-twenty years, forty years, and after four hundred-fifty years it would take a lifetime of exposure, but the room would still not be safe; for the next four hundred-fifty years, exposure will still cause cancers, genetic mutations and reproductive failures. Getting rid of the carpet won’t help avoid death, as the radiation immediately penetrates its surroundings. A single application of cesium can make an area uninhabitable for nine hundred years!

“This is how we will slay the Great Satan!

“Any radioactive substance, even those with a very short half-life, can be applied in sufficient quantity to make a one-day exposure fatal! This is how we will slay the Great Satan!

“An application of a medical isotope with a half life of one week, in sufficient concentration quantity to eventually kill after a one day exposure will be capable of killing a man within his expected lifetime for a four month period, and for the next four months after that it will cause sickness, and deformities in offspring. A large enough amount applied to the groundwater will kill, sicken, and deform future generations of an entire population. This is how we will kill the Great Satan!”

He pulled down a screen on a stand.

“Here’s a map of the United States, showing the rivers. They flow from high ground to low, as everywhere else. We have targeted the mountain states -–this is to our advantage, as the U.S. government thinks we are after the large cities on the coasts, and has concentrated its intelligence operations and defences there. The mountain states economies depend on tourism – from now on you are tourists!

“You will be applying your weapons to hotels,shopping malls, casinos, hostels, resorts, and any other accomodations where tourists gather. The american people themselves will unwittingly spread the radiation back to their own cities and homes.

“Choose a target in any location, and spray his car and clothing with your aerosol dispenser in a manner to avoid detection. Search also for transient people who have no credibility, as well as people of affluence – the first, if they become aware of what is happening, will never be believed, and the rich will never believe it could happen to them! This is how we will destroy the Great Satan!

“While the government is waiting for explosions we have been striking silently for thirty years - the 911 attack was a feint to make the government think only of bombs. This is how we will slay the Great Satan!


“You have tourist visas. You are to visit resorts in vacation season. You must enjoy yourselves, but remain pure. It is imperative that you enjoy yourselves, as appearences go – you will be observed by us and them. Any sullen looks and bad disposition will be suspect in a resort setting, and you will be removed from the program.

“Those of you who are deemed unsuitable for the tourist program will be assigned to the factories. As you have seen, foods in america are manufactured in much the same way as durable goods in our countries. You will be assigned to food processing, canning, and bottling operations, and will dispense your weapons into the foodstuffs as they are packaged.

“In america, like everywhere else, it is the poor who breed the most. It is also the poor who are most likely to become soldiers. For this reason we have operatives in the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Share Program, who are directing the treatment of the freely distributed food. This is why you and your families have been warned not to eat food that is distributed in humanitarian relief efforts funded and operated by the United States. Science has shown that after a breeding mammal, humans included, are exposed to radiation, the effects of the exposure increase with subsequent generations. After the sixth generation, offspring of exposed mammals are born without higher brains and without the capacity to reproduce. This is how we will destroy the Great Satan!

“You will be told which brands to avoid, and which are safe to consume. We do not plan on wasting your training! Those of you who complete the training and successfully perform your tasks will become long-term operatives. Some of you will apply for residency – your applications will be assisted by our sleeper operatives already in place in U.S. and local governments – and some of you will be withdrawn and inserted into other western empires. In this way we will defeat the Great Satan!

Eat fresh food, prepared yourself, whenever possible. For this reason, and others which may occur to you, many of you will be sent to cooking schools in the U.S. and elsewhere. Those of you who show talent in this field will be instructed to publicly organize and teach at cooking schools openly based on the tenets of our faith – if there’s one thing “Uncle Sam” can’t see it is what is right under his nose! You will be openly demonstrative of your faith. Scheduled retreats will be necessary to remove some of you from the area of any overt attack. Some of you will not be removed. Some of those will be ordered to prolong your service, and others will be assigned to tasks of great sacrifice.

“ In case of accidental exposure to your own weapon you may choose from two courses of action, either to affect as many targets as possible or to cleanse yourself. You will receive iodine tablets. In contrast to our custom, you may ingest foods treated with iodized salt, and may flush your system with great quantities of water. Radiation kills mainly by changing the body’s water- H2O – into H2O2, dehydrating and destroying cells and affecting cell reproduction. To reduce contamination of the flesh you may consume or scrub with carbon in basic forms such as charcoal, to draw out the radiation. Be warned, such behavior may expose you and your companions to detection! On the bright side, any of your victims who behave in this manner will probably not hide their actions and will become the suspects.

“U.S. government intelligence may detect your activity, but it is more likely that it will be your victims who they suspect – after all, it will be your victims who will be laundering their clothes, thus poluting the groundwater,and otherwise spreading the contamination among the general population.

“If any of your victims suspect that he has been used in this way, he will not be believed. We have operatives in local law enforcement in the targeted areas. Be warned! Our operatives can not and will not protect you if you are detected! They are, however, in position to dissuade any effective investigation, and will direct such energies against your victims.

“Americans are greedy and are as easily bought as they are fooled. American black markets are run by malcontents who care only for today’s dollars. Honest citizens believe what they are told to believe, and the government believes it is invincible.

“In america much business is done illegally, outside of government regulation. Some of these businessmen are sympathetic to a weakening of government regulations, and all of them are greedy. One of the largest and fastest growing illegal businesses is in the unregulated disposal of hazardous industrial waste. We use the waste as weapons, and assist these businessmen. We also add our weapons to the waste being illegally disposed. The land and the water of the evil empire are being poisoned as we wait – yet it is not enough.

Once the natural wetlands are depleted the contamination of the land and water will be accomplished more easily. We have operatives and allies, some unwitting, in local and larger governments, introducing and requesting legislation to alter controls on land use and development. Some of you are to be assigned to live as resident aliens as normally as possible while we effect the changes we desire, until the time comes to swiftly dispense hazardous materials into the groundwater as well as the public water supply, at which time you will be given a new assignment.

“Know, we have already been very successful in achieving our goals, diverting suspicion, and discrediting those who have become aware of our efforts and intentions. In fact, we have exposed some of our victims as operatives, and local law enforcment agencies are “giving the terrorists a taste of their own medicine” by themselves repeatedly applying more contamination to our victims, thus furthering our goals in fact and with the consent – and money – of the U.S. government! Within the federal government are those who have become aware of our program and are suppressing this knowledge for their own personal political aspirations. In this way we defeat the Great Satan!

“Some of the high plains states in the western part of the country are already under our control, although they do not know it, which was an unforseen success. Other areas are already poisoned for the next few centuries. Members of the government, while aware of our successes, are suppressing this information because they do not want the population to panic, and are themselves targeting those who would raise an alarm as perpetrators of both local and terrorist crimes! In this way we have already defeated the Great Satan!

“This is our silent program. At the appropriate time, to solidify our political control, our overt attacks will commence. Some targets are strategically insignificant; others are tactically imperative. Washington D.C. is not one of them, as it is not in our best interest to de-centralize the federal government until after the other target cities –Albequerque, Boulder, Chicago, Houston, Kansas City, Portland-Vancouver, and San Diego, – are destroyed.

“We have been sowing seeds of distrust and suspicion within the black markets of the western hemisphere to better manipulate individuals who will assist either knowingly or unwittingly at key moments. Suspicion is being cast upon total innocents – local law enforcment operatives are essential to this – in order to assure that the finances of investigative operations hostile to our cause will be depleted on false leads. This has enabled is to consolidate wealth and power into the hands of those actually hostile to the populations they were once elected and appointed to protect and serve. We have turned democracy against itself. In this way the Great Satan will be utterly destroyed!

Where: Trail Ridge Road, Rocky Mountain National Park

What I Saw: Two Irani men with a hand-truck/dolly, a 25 gallon barrel of liquid, trucking across the tundra - I asked why. They were attempting to contaminate both the Ogallala Aquifer AND the Colorado River ( Water supply for Las Vegas, Phoenix, Los Angeles, etc ), with heavy water stolen from a nuclear power plant. I did not see the driver... who had dropped them off with the barrel at the summit of Trail Ridge Road, then partially descended the west side of the road down a couple switchbacks. He made trips up to the top to deliver subsequent barrels ( I wasn't given the count, but was told they had a dozen or two - I don't know how they drove that old step-van all the way to the top of Trail Ridge, but they did ).

What I did: I contacted the rangers at the bottom of the road...they dissed me entirely ( I was then 16 years old ). Later I attempted to contact the FBI but was told they only accept reports from law enforcement. I contacted the local Sheriff's office and was told to " mind my own business "

Where: Rocky Flats Lounge, HWY 93, south of Boulder

What I saw/heard: Having stopped for a beer, I struck up a conversation with a "Flats Rat" who had just finished his shift . He was seriously PO'ed about the pending closure, as he would be out of work just a few months shy of having earned a 20-year pension . He claimed that he was " gonna get his money " anyhow, as he had 6 POUNDS OF PLUTONIUM stored in his downtown Boulder Pearl Street apartment, and had found a couple buyers for it. I was shocked, he said he had a friend who had over 50 POUNDS PLUTONIUM, and that he knew of another worker, different shift/work area, who had cached OVER 100 POUNDS of the stuff and was selling it.

What I did; I attempted to contact the FBI but got the same run-around. I called the Boulder County Sheriff's Department and was told, again, to mind my own business.

What I saw: Actually, this concerns a conversation with Mr. McKinley, Special Grand Jury Foreman of the Rocky Flats probe team. He was VERY tight-lipped, not wanting to do anything to possibly jeopardize the efforts of the investigators/grand jurors to shed light on alleged criminal activity at the Rocky Flats plant, ( SEE: http://www.levellers.org/jrp/orig/jrp.rckyflts.htm ) but I did elicit one comment from him.... he was puzzled by the response of Boulder Sheriff's Officer George Epp to a comment concerning the MISSING plutonium ( over 200 POUNDS ), Epp's comment was "We have that under control ". Oh REALLY!!!!!! I wonder, DOES the Boulder Sheriff's department actually have access to a stash of plutonium?

Having been trained, however informally, in radiation detection by a family member of a Hiroshima survivor, I have become aware of a widespread release of radioactive matter in recent months in the Boulder area. Those most affected are the poor, the homeless, .... and now the MJ dispensaries.

I have dozens of horror stories regarding abuses of office by the Boulder DA's office, the Boulder Sheriff's department, and the Boulder PD, dating back to 1968..... NO I WON"T TELL YOU FRIGGIN PIGS ONE DAMN THING< you missed your chance.... but I WILL name NAMES and cite dates and locations to any federal investigator WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE BOULDER FBI OFFICE...;. I believe that they are in it up to their necks

Hello! I have a full time and part time opening in my daycare! I just recently relocated to Longmont and have been doing licensed daycare for a few years. I am CPR/First Aid Certified as well as licensed in Universal Precautions. I am also an elementary school teacher with experience in k-2 and 7th grades. Did you have any notions of how? How would you propose all the people you want to pull their kids from public ed. still teach them? Additionally, your last sentence contains two expressions- both of which intrigued me.: what are you trying to "afford" whilst removing kids from the public ed. sys.? I think this ties back to your never-expounded-upon thoughts on what to do with kids to continue their education after they are removed from the public schools. Additionally, again gleened from your very last sentence, would you support the continuation of a public system, even if you're successful at educating the youth in some alternative means?

See, i wasn't representing "the left" when i responded to your posting. You'll notice that i began my earlier response with my own personal history. But if you'd like to hoist me onto a pedestal, i'm honored and will try to be deserving of it. -if that means that i may generalize your own postings to represent all of "the right." This is only fair.... and balanced.

I- i mean, The Left, "think so literally" because you, "The Right," use complete sentences to either express incomplete thoughts or express yourselves incompletely. I do notice how you took my sarcastic straw-men suggested solutions literally- as evidenced by your honest and sardonic, parenthetical responses. When one party writes incomplete thoughts, the other party can respond with an incomplete expression of his or her own, OR treat the thoughts of the first party as literal expressions. The latter choice can often be an argumentative strategy to draw out more information from the first party so as to force the completion of the original thought.

Lastly, you incorrectly concluded that I, "the left," lost my/our common sense from my submittal of sarcastic and straw-men suggestions to complete your thought. My authentic inclusion of "discussing with our children (paraphrased)" elicited agreement from you. So you also can't conclude I, the left, lacked common sense with that suggestion either. That being said, I'd like to hear your suggestions on what to do with our kids after pulling them from the public school system; if you support the continued funding of the public ed. sys. and why; and if you're up to it, please feel at ease expounding on what you feel is failing in our public school system, and any thoughts on why that might be the case.
