The Recruiter is accountable for the delivery of candidates to meet recruiting demand for Campus Recruiting. This role is viewed as deeper content expert in this area. Early Product Pricing Specialist (EPPS), Inflammation - Global Health Economics & Pricing (GHEP)

DESCRIPTION:
Lead and oversee global payer and reimbursement strategies, as a core member of the early development teams, in early development prior to assignment of the International Payer Strategy Leader (IPSL). Provide the payer perspective to the evaluation of in-licensing and merger and acquisition opportunities. Work closely with Research, Development, Regulatory, Partnering and Business to create the initial target product profile. Conduct primary and secondary payer research for the US, EU5 and other affiliates. Interface with critical external parties, such as: clinical and economic opinion leaders, advisory boards and health authorities, ensuring full accountability for compliance with all laws, regulations and policies that govern the conduct of company activities.

- Attend a variety of internal meetings with partners from research, global development, global product strategy and key affiliates in order to fully understand business and financial objectives, legal and compliance guidelines, and external considerations for the development of global payer and reimbursement strategies
- Also attend various other cross-functional meetings regarding Roche and Genentech business strategies, plans, activities, targets and goals; providing the specialist, cumulative perspective on global payer and reimbursement strategies, pricing and patient access
- Lead market assessment and analysis as these relate to global payer and reimbursement strategies:
-- Conduct or commission market research and competitive analysis working with International Business Analysts and other internal and external partners
-- Lead in the synthesis of market and business analytics
-- Lead in the translation of research and analytics into enhanced business opportunities and/or solutions to key business challenges
-- Track and communicate all critical emerging markets, pricing, access and distribution business trends and issues to internal partners and stakeholders

-- Collaborate with all internal partners/stakeholders in the development of detailed communication and implementation plans to effectively introduce and implement new and changed terms, processes, and/or other related strategic components
- Develop budgets and operating plans and review and approve with his/her manager. Use approved budgets and plans to maintain the appropriate infrastructure for GHEP (organizational design, departmental processes, systems and tools). Assign and delegate team member work assignments, goals and objectives, as well as expense budgets
- Support manager, other GHEP senior management, GPS or other internal executives, as and when appropriate, in development of functional or unit annual and longer-range strategies and business plans. Provide the cumulative, specialist perspective on global payer and reimbursement, pricing and patient access
- Where appropriate, play a lead role in the identification, negotiation and ultimate contracting with external vendors. Ensure best terms for Roche and Genentech in all vendor negotiations, and involve team members, as and when appropriate, for their further/continued development


QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- Doctoral degree in economics, pharmacoeconomics, health services, or outcomes research; or Doctoral degree in clinical discipline (PharmD, MD, DO) with a Masters degree; or Masters degree with comparable work experience in pricing, health services research, health care policy or health economics
- 6+ years' work experience in the areas of pricing, reimbursement and market access in the health care environment, and/or health economics in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry
- Previous experience in Inflammation or related therapeutic area essential
- Demonstrated successful experience in developing and implementing pricing and market access strategies with payers internationally and in executing applied economic and health outcomes studies with strategic drug development and commercialization objectives
- Demonstrated understanding of the international payer environment including coverage and reimbursement, pricing, formulary management, health technology assessment, and health care policy
- Clinical disease and product knowledge to support definition and generation of product value proposition
- Principles of conducting primary and secondary payer research and health economics and outcomes research
- Working knowledge of product development, regulatory and clinical affairs
- Demonstrated ability to build and lead cross-functional teams
- Proven ability to lead and drive change
- Demonstrable abilities to establish relationships with key opinion leaders and other relevant, external influencers

Dynamic, global hard goods component manufacturer has an immediate need for a Plant Controller for the company's "showboat" operation. The Plant Controller reports to the Plant GM at the plant (dotted line to Division Controller). This position is part of the Strategic Plant Leadership Team and is located in the Bowling Green, Kentucky regional area.

Responsibilities will include providing management with the strategic tools & reports to drive business results; drive excess expense and capital out of the business; manage the Closing Cycle, cost management strategies, division accounting functions, cash flow management, process re-engineering, cost accounting, new product costing & pricing; financial and variance analysis; capital expenditure, financial reporting, and inventory control. You will prepare weekly, monthly, and annual forecasts. Manage and develop Division Accounting Department. You will lead and coordinate the Budget Process + Budget results reporting & forecasting. A/P, A/R, Credit & Collections management, SOX compliance & internal controls. Implementation of Cost Controls and Cost Reductions initiatives. Direct and develop Plant Accounting Department.

Requirements:
BS Degree in Accounting or Finance. An MBA, CPA, and/or CMA would be a plus. You should have 8-15 years of relevant manufacturing accounting experience. Hard goods manufacturing..... automotive manufacturing industry experience would be a plus. You should have 5+ years experience in a Plant Controller's position. This is a Standard Costing manufacturing environment. You should have strong cost accounting experience, consolidations experience, manufacturing plant accounting, G/L, A/P & A/R, financial reporting, financial analysis, supervision & development of staff, forecasting, strategy development, capital expenditure analysis and tracking, budget development and implementation experience.
