REG. AQHA Dun Mare (Logan Co.) $1500

Nice Reg. Dun mare. Broke to ride, but isn't for the beginner. Not crazy, but needs more miles put on her. Not spooky, she just has to be shown she isn't the boss.
Has had 3 foals, 2 Bucksins and 1 Dun. Throws big foals, this yrs foal is 3 1/2 months old and stands 11.3 hands and is wide as a barn door. Could be double reg with the IBHA, but I haven't bothered to do it. Shes 15.1 hands, and 1018 pounds 2 months ago. Not kid-broke or bomb-proof, but my cousins (8 and 10) ride her all over the place. Just need the experience to know she's bluffing. Don't have any pics right at the moment, but will take some of her and her foal in the next couple days.
We ride her in an O-ring snaffle, loads and unloads easily, stands tied or crosstied. My cousins have shown her at the local co. show and we have trail ridden her alot. Not spooky of vehicles, tractors, 4wheelers, or dogs. Ridden western and hunt, and ran a few barrels.
9 Yrs old, Red dunn with dorsal and leg barring. 1 Back sock and Blaze face. Good conformation and beautiful head.
AQHA Registration Papers are valid, in my name, and ready to be transferred. Peppy San, Poco, Bull (rated 2nd in 2009 top bloodlines list), as well as other major bloodlines.

120 Days professional reining training with the head equine professor at Murray College. 90 days professional hunt training with former professional dressage rider, and has graduated two levels of the Parelli Training Program.
"King Paul Zip" was shown in 4-H, and other local, regional, and state shows. Shown Halter, Showmanship, Ranch Horse Pleasure, Western Riding, Horsemanship (Hunt and Western), and Hunter under saddle. Was started in Trail, but never shown. He loves the bridges. My brother (who has cerebal palsy, and is confined to a wheelchair) has even shown him in halter and costume classes.
Zip is a real sweetheart, couldn't ask for a better mannered horse. There is no kicking, biting, cribbing, or pawing in this horse. He respects your space, but isn't timid or spooky. Wonderful for the vet and farrier. Loads/Unloads in two horse or big trailers (ramp or stepup) with no problem. Ties, cross ties, and groundties. I don't even tie him for grooming, clipping, banding & braiding, and tacking up. Not the least bit headshy, and takes the bit well. No fighting or fussing. Knows his voice commands and leg cues. Has alot of "whoa". Stops and Backs on cue, without rein pressure. VERY light mouth. I still ride him in a halter and leadrope, and work him in an O-ring snaffle. Easy to catch, whistle and hes on his way. And he knows when the halter goes on, playtime is over. Not aggressive with other horses, but not lowest rank either. Not an escape artist. Stalls and pastures well. Not scared of vehicles, 4 wheelers, tractors, or dogs.
Hasn't been ridden on the trails much, but really enjoyed the few times he has, so he may be unsure of hisself if alone. Hasn't been ridden but approx. 10 times over the last year, so he may need a light tune-up before show season, but nothing major. My cousins ( 8 and 10) ride him all over our 38 acres, but I wouldn't say hes kid-broke or bomb-proof. He is a live animal and they have minds of their own. They have been riding their whole lives, so they have some experience. I wouldn't put some-one who didn't know how to ride on him. He is sane, but tends to get excited if his rider does.
AQHA Registration papers are valid, in my name, and ready to be transferred. King, Zippo Pine, and Doc Bar breeding to name a few.
