Controller (Harlingen)

This position will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer and has the following specific responsibilities:

• Direct and coordinate the financial administration of the company and its affiliates.
• Protect the company’s assets by establishing, monitoring and enforcing internal controls.
• Review and analyze the financial statements of the company and affiliates to identify variances and ensure that they are prepared accurately and in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
• Coordinates external audit efforts for the hospital and its affiliates and develops and maintains useful information reports that enable management decision making.

Job Requirements:

• 8-10 years of progressive experience in the healthcare industry combined with experience in a multi-hospital system with complex financial reporting issues.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• CPA preferred
• Public Accounting experience a plus

Senior Cost Accountant (Oklahoma City, OK)

The Senior Cost Accountant will coordinate with divisional financial operations regarding accounting activity (i.e., financial statements and reporting, financial analysis, financial research, professional accounting, forecasts, ledgers, etc.).

Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Update standard cost systems
Transfer pricing policy and coordination
Capitalization of variances (FIFO Inventory Valuation)
Calculation of variances
Cycle count programs / inventory control
LCM and Standard Revision of calculations
Maintenance of Bills of Materials

Job Requirements & Skills:
5-10 years minimum experience in a manufacturing environment
Strong Cost Accounting experience
4 yr Accounting degree from accredited institution
CPA or CMA certification preferred
Experience with US auditing firm desirable
Must have demonstrated hands-on experience in cost accounting in a manufacturing environment
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is required
Experience with Mexican and Latin American operations is required
Must be completely proficient in Microsoft Office tools, specifically Excel. Experience with QAD a plus.
