Duties:
Approves incoming materials by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; rejecting and returning unacceptable materials. Approves finished products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; returning products for re-work; confirming re-work. Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarizing re-work and waste; inputting data into quality database.Must have a working knowledge of MS Word and Excel.

Role for this Position:
Under the supervision of the Warehouse Alliance Manager, this position will specialize in the receiving and storing of goods, preparing orders for shipment, ensuring accurate and efficient international order fulfillment, and general maintenance and housekeeping duties to ensure a safe, clean, and orderly work environment.
Duties/ Responsibilities:
Receive and unload incoming materials
Prepare required documents for U.S. and international shipments
Perform physically demanding work handling heavy/bulky materials
Process and expedite shipping transactions and related documentation
Stage all finished goods for daily shipping
Accurately pick and prepare shipping orders to meet shipping goals
Research cost effective shipping methods that will meet customer requirements
Verify product received against packing slips to ensure inventory accuracy
Participate in regular cycle counts and annual physical inventory counts
Knowledge Required:
Must have basic computer knowledge (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)
Working knowledge of UPS Worldship
Working knowledge of standard equipment including phones, fax, copier, calculator, etc.
Skills Required:
Experience in a computerized environment as well as working with a warehouse database management system
Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
Experience operating warehouse equipment (forklift, pallet jack, etc.)
Abilities Required:
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Able to work in a fast paced distribution environment while meeting established distribution goals
Able to operate a wide variety of hand tools
Able to read and use a scale
Able to perform simple arithmetic
Able to stand/ and or walk for extended periods of time during the work day
Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Must be available to work flexible hours
Education/Training/Experience:
Minimum of a High School Diploma/ GED required
Minimum of 2 years previous experience in the Import/ Export field required
Cycle count and inventory handling experience required
Full bilingual skills required
SAP experience preferred
