Baseball Players Needed. (Buenos Aires)

The Shankees Baseball Organization is looking for baseball player to join the ranks.
Upcoming tournaments include league play in La Liga Metro, and friendlies in Salta, Rosario, and Cordoba.
Players also needed to form the Shankee expansion team. Name to be announced soon.
Some experience a must.
Intensive rookie program to prepare for the fall tournament starts February 2010.
All gloves and gear provided.

SSB - SPANISH & LUNFARDO classes with games & fun! (Buenos Aires)

WHAT:
SSB is a new concept in Spanish and Lunfardo classes with games and a lot of fun, for all levels.

These activities will make everybody forget about shyness: CATCH PHRASE, LUNFA –BARDO, TELEGRAMA, TRIVIA, LA PALABRA OCULTA, EL POETA, LA DEFINICION TRUCHA, EL PERSONAJE, ADIVINA QUIEN SOY, TITULOS DE CRONICA TV (hilarious!!), Tango lytics, Revista BARCELONA, among others
You can bring a Spanish/Spanish and or Spanish/English dictionary which is very useful for some activities. If you have a laptop, WI-FI available.

HOW:
Groups-Individual

• ASK FOR PRIVATE CLASSES* (same price for 1 and a half hours aprox)

Classes last 1 and a half hours and there are 3 levels: -Beginners; -Intermediate; -Advanced
Intermediate may join Beginners or Advanced in some cases.
Classes include SPANISH CONVERSATION and LUNFARDO, both with games!! Cost per person is
AR$ 15!! BUENIIIIISIMOOO!!

IMPORTANT!!:
-Please suggest time hours, I want everybody to be able to join us, so do tell me about your time available during the week and the area of your residence!
We have different meetings at different places and you can join other students. We will also have a Spanish activity outdoors at least once a month!!

CONTINUITY:
Good thing about being a ¨habitué¨is that we can follow activities and home work from one class to next making time more productive. This way we can all enjoy videos and songs, for instance.

Ever thought of how much fun it would be to learn a language with your partner while having fun and making new friends? We’ve heard Buenos Aires is the city of friends….
We are a couple from Portland, Oregon USA, and England. We have come to Buenos Aires to live for a year, or more. We are both qualified and certified English teachers with more than 5 years experience teaching English around the world. We have taught all levels of English in small groups and individually. We are professional and creative, however we do enjoy what we do and love to try new things and ways to expand the knowledge of language.
What we are offering are English classes for individuals and groups while cooking, drinking, and talking. You can learn English in many ways: grammatical lessons, or communicative (conversation) lessons. Our idea is: we get together in a bar, café or a house (ours is always open), somewhere where we are all comfortable, and we either order pizza, empanadas, or cook our own meal together, we drink mate, tea, wine or beer, and we TALK! We prepare our classes and we use what feels natural to all participants. We will personalize and work on whatever needs you have. We can edit texts for work, we can talk business, politics, literature, or whatever interests, professions, and hobbies you have.
Rates:
Individual: AR $23/hour
Couples: AR $40/hour
Small group (4-8): AR $18/hour and person.

Deja que nos introduzcamos: somos una pareja de Portland Oregon, EUA, y de Inglaterra. Hemos venido a vivir aquí en Buenos Aires por un año o más. Ambos somos profesores de Inglés cualificados y certificados, con más de 5 años de experiencia enseñando Inglés alrededor del mundo. Hemos enseñado todos los niveles de Inglés, tanto a pequeños grupos como grandes grupos. Somos profesionales y creativos, aunque amamos lo que hacemos y siempre estamos probando cosas nuevas y maneras de expandir el conocimiento de la lengua Inglesa.
Lo que ofrecemos son clases de Inglés individuales y en grupos pequeños mientras cocinamos, bebemos, y hablamos! Se puede aprender el Inglés de varias maneras: clases de gramática o clases de conversación. Boxing or Jiu Jitsu (San Telmo)

Aussie in Buenos Aires... Looking for a boxing club (not necessarily to spar, training is fine) and/or a jiu jitsu club. The closer to San Telmo the better and also an english speaking trainer would be great, but not 100% necessary.
