Estamos visitando Bs As el 15 hasta el 29 de diciembre, y ofrecemos nuestro departamento en Manhattan por uno en Buenos Aires. Se encuentra en Stuyvesant Town, a 15 minutos caminando de Union Square, y 7 minutos de una estación de subte. Está muy bien ubicado y adentro de un barrio que es más o menos un parque, sin el bruido de la calle (http://www.stuytown.com/). Tiene 4 ambientes, y 2 habitaciones. Otra opción es nuestra casa de playa en el pueblo de East Hampton, al este de Long Island (será invierno pero está hermoso con la nieve). Nuestra hija, que actualmente está estudiando en la UBA, está disponible para ir a conocerlo(s) en Buenos Aires antes del intercambio.


We're visiting Buenos Aires from December 15-29, and offering our Manhattan apartment for one in Buenos Aires. It's in Stuyvesant Town, a 15 minute walk from Union Square and 7 minute walk from the nearest subway stop. It's very well located and within a park-like neighborhood, without much noise from the street (http://www.stuytown.com/). It has a living room, a den, and 2 bedrooms. You can also choose to stay in our beach house in the town of East Hampton, on the East End of Long Island (it'll be winter, but it's beautiful there when it snows). Our daughter, who is currently studying in the UBA, is available to meet you in Buenos Aires before we make the exchange.

Santa Monica Beach 2 bdrm for Argentina - Jan (Santa Monica California)

My boyfriend and I have a beautiful two-bedroom, two bathroom apartment steps to the beach in beautiful sunny Santa Monica, California that we would like to swap for a comparable place in Buenos Aires in January. We literally step outside of our apartment and walk one block and the ocean is there. We live right on the Santa Monica Bluff - so you can see all the way up the coast to Malibu and the Channel Islands. We have a balcony with views of the Santa Monica Mountains (hiking is just minutes away). We are close to everything - take a bike ride to the Santa Monica Prominade and watch the street performers and shop, sit at a cafe on Montana Avenue and go check out the upscale boutiques, hang out at a cool bar in Venice Beach and chat with the locals, surf, swim, take a drive up to Malibu (15 minutes), enjoy the most amazing drive along the Pacific Coast Highway. Go to the farmers market and pick up the freshest fruits and vegitables - just picked that morning.

Apartment: about 1100 square feet, two flat screen tvs, fully carpeted and furnished, fireplace, a lot of space. Pics below.

We are looking to swap for a comparable apartment in Recoleta preferably (or palermo)- open to exact location but want the experience of living like a local. Looking for about 6/7 days in January. You won't be sorry. We LOVE our place but we have never been to Argentina and think its about time!

buenos aires for new york city

Looking to swap our Buenos Aires apartment for approximately two months during the period of January – March for a New York City apartment that can accommodate a family of two adults and two small children.

Here are the details:

- we need to be in New York for at least six weeks but really are hoping to make it about eight weeks and have some flexibility on the dates (mid-January to mid-March would be ideal) ... we need to return to Buenos Aires by the end of March at the latest

- we are a family of four (two children ages 2 and 6) and need at least a good-sized one bedroom though obviously a two bedroom would be better

- our place in Buenos Aires is a three to four bedroom with very high ceilings (23 feet?), two bathrooms, a roof terrace, and three cats,

- it is located just south of downtown of Buenos Aires, on the borderline between the neighborhoods of Montserrat and Constitucion, with great transportation to anywhere in the city

- it has a very good internet connection and we will have someone come to clean the apartment twice a week,

- we can live anywhere in NYC but really need to be near a subway station
