The Lead Operations Supervisor manages the overall daily activities of the warehouse. This includes building a motivated workforce to ensure customer satisfaction, managing financial performance, establishing/maintaining a stable work environment and continuous operational improvements.
Responsibilities:
1. Ensures client satisfaction through oversight of daily warehouse activities (includes inbound, outbound and inventory).

4. Ensures JHSB standards and procedures are implemented.
5. Develops, initiates and provides for improvements in operational efficiency and control, by reviewing and making the necessary adjustments to staffing, procedures and systems, together with the establishment of operational goals and objectives.
6. Communicates warehouse objectives to direct reports.
7. Achieves key labor efficiencies.
8. Performs other duties as required.
9. Record shipment data, such as weight, charges, space availability, and damages and discrepancies, for reporting, accounting, and recordkeeping purposes.
10. Confer and correspond with establishment representatives to rectify problems, such as damages, shortages, and nonconformance to specifications.
11. Inspect and evaluate the physical condition of facilities in order to determine the type of work required.
12. Recommend changes that could improve service and increase operational efficiency.
13. Explain and enforce safety regulations governing the workplace, and the safe operation of industrial equipment.
Requirements:
1. Must have a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
2. Must have 5-7 years warehousing and logistics experience, preferably in a cold storage, union environment, and interact effectively with customers. (Experience / Customer Service)
3. Demonstrate operational excellence of warehousing and logistics.
4. Lead by example and effectively communication and motivate subordinates.
5. Ability to perform in-depth problem solving.
6. Administer consistent constructive counseling as needed.
