i just want to say that i used to donate to this.... then one day a friend asked me to go to a second hand store located in the riverside area by the name of hearts...while i was in there i was in utter shock at the overpricing on these used items....i became very curious and asked the lady at the counter if Hearts and Hearts for the Homless were one in the same and she replied that they were! I was under the impression that the things i was donating where being given to the needy for FREE!!! If I wanted them to be sold I would have given them to salvation army or had my own overpriced garage sale!! so now i found a needy family in my area with children that i give things to. I also give away a lot on Freecycle.org.
