hello, i am a 28 yr old female with a one year old son. I am currently very ill, i was recently released from the hospital after 8 long months and i have many more surgeries and alot of therapy to go. The holidays are upon us and right now i have Nothing to offer my son!!! I know this is the season for the sad stories and the beg for hand-outs but please believe me if i didnt fall ill i would be working 40+ hours. If anyone can help me with food, toys ( even used) or household items it would be greatly appreciated!!! I've called the department of social services and was told i would have to wait 45 days for any assistance!! Can you believe that!! I didnt !! My nurses that come daily help me with diapers and do what they can and i am very greatful for them. So please if you have anything laying around you think i could use let me know.
