Last year, I attended a function in Kitchener, Ontario called Fem Fest and it was a donation of my time and services to woman who have been in abusive relationships in the Kitchener/Waterloo Region. The evening was a blast and I was able to bring woman out of their shell and make them feel beautiful again.
Woman who have been in abusive relationship suffer from depression and at some point could very well start to believe what their partner is saying about them. When they came to me and asked me to do their makeup and then felt and looked amazing when I was finished, I felt that there would be nothing in this world that I could do within my career that would compare to that feeling.
When I was asked to be part of Fem Fest, I wasn’t sure what to expect and really, what their expectations were of me. I truly believe that it was a wonderful opportunity and I am still so grateful to the Kitchener Sexual Health Clinic for allowing me to be a part of their event and sharing the joy that we were able to give these woman.
I provide my clients with a one on one consultation, free of charge to determine the look that they are after. This can be done in one of two way, either on the phone or in person. I do request a emailed picture if we are doing the consultation on the phone as I need to see your face in order to determine what look would go best for you.
A simple makeup application last about 30 minutes and consists of a full coverage foundation and concealer, bronzer (optional), blush, eye brow filling, mascara, one - two eye shadow colors and eye liner ( if wanted).
A dramatic makeup application can take up to a hour and contains full coverage foundation, concealer, bronzer (optional), blush, eye brow filling and darkening, mascara, 3 or more eye shadow colors, and eye liner.
In some cases, my clients have wanted extra sparkles, glitter, or East Indian jewels on their face. I never charge any extra for this only ask that you bring it with you, as I don’t always have many extras that you may be looking for, unless it is already figured into the consultation.
Makeup price ranges from $70- $90 per application

A doula who accompanies a woman in labour mothers the mother, taking care of her emotional needs throughout childbirth. A doula also provides support and suggestions for partners that can enhance their experiences of birth. A postpartum doula continues that valuable emotional support and guidance, helping a family make a smooth transition into new family dynamics.

Doulas can help you in ways no one else can! Your partner may be a fantastic source of support, as the two of you share a special bond as you become parents together. But partners have their own journey to parenthood, and it can be a heavy load provide support during labor as well as manage their own inner questions and experience. Doulas can help by providing practical support for partners, to allow them a few minutes' break every now and again to rest, eat, and regroup. Many partners also appreciate having an experienced supporter present who can reassure them about what is happening, and offer tips and demonstrations of comfort techniques. With a doula present, many partners actually feel more confident about their role at the birth and are able to be more active.
Your doctor will also play a key role in supporting you. But doctors usually are able to check on you only briefly from time to time throughout your labor, and cannot provide support in your home in the early stages. Doulas can!

Why does the water change colour?
During the treatment you will notice a change in the colour of the water in which your feet are immersed. This colour change is in part due to the chemical reaction of the electrolytic process and not wholly toxin residue. There are many reasons why the water changes colour, when the energiser is activated this creates an electrolytic flow within the water, substances that are present in the water such as salt, chlorine, magnesium, copper, detergents will influence colour change. Also anything present on the skin such as bacteria, dead skin cells and fungal infections will also influence the colour change. That is why the colour change can vary from person to person and from treatment to treatment.
