If you're looking for someone to watch your kids while you ring in the New Year, then look no further! Help is on the way!

We are a mature same sex (female) couple with a 14 year old daughter of our own, who would love to help out. I am certified in both First Aid and CRP, and previously worked in the Homecare field where I took care of adults with physical disabilities.
We love children, and would treat your child as one of our own.

The rate of pay is $35/hour for the first child, and $10/hour extra for each additional child. Up to three children. ( Example: 3 children =$55/hour)

We'd prefer to have your child/children brought to us no later then 7:00pm on New Years eve, and picked up no later then 2:00 am. If at all necessary, a sleep over could be arranged, however an extra fee of $5 per hour on top of the original fee would be charged for every hour after 2:00 am, up until 9:00 am the following morning. The extra fee would include breakfast for your child (with parents permission) as well as bringing them home in the morning. (This would have to be arranged in advance, and any items such as car seats, pj's and toothbrushes would have to be provided)

As well, if your child will not be spending the night, we ask again that you do have them picked up before or by 2:00 am. If not, any time exceeded over 2:00 Am will be charged an additional 0.50/minute on top of the hourly rate. (For example $35/hr for 5 hours up until 2:00am. =$175 Child picked up at 3:00am = additional 60 minutes Or 1 hour = $35/hr x 6= $210 + 0.50/minute x 60 minutes = $30 extra. For a grand total of $240.00)


If interested, please email us at least two weeks in advance via craigslist, and we will get back to you ASAP to answer any questions or concerns, as well as to arrange a meeting, and for you to drop by our place to check it out. (We can also give a list of several references if requested)

If you do decide to book us two weeks in advance, unfortunately we will require a $75 deposit. That money will then be deducted from what you owe after picking up your children.

I am a stay at home mom with a 3 year old daughter. I have been looking after two children in my home for two years and one has had to leave us. So now I have one full time or part time spot available. I am looking for a little one between 1 - 3 years old.

I have worked 5 years in childcare and have been a mom for over 9. I provide healthy snacks and lunch. I do a ton of baking, so a lot of the time the snacks are homemade. We read lots of books, do crafts and have plenty of free play for developing imaginations. Our backyard has a playhouse, sandbox and slide. We also have a bunch of little cars and ride on toys for your child to enjoy. When the weather is nice we play outside all the time.

I offer a very loving, homey atmosphere and and do not consider my home a "day home". After working in child care myself I knew I never wanted my child to have to go to a daycare. That is why I choose to look after only a couple little ones instead of running a day home. Your child will get so much more individual attention and be happier all around.
