MAC IBOOK G4 (Selling for parts or as a resuscitation project) (Downtown) $50

This Mac ibook G4 I can't get to work properly. It suddenly started acting up. Everything was working fine but I decided to reinstall OSX... unfortunately the disk drive is broken and I think this is the reason the installation messed up. Theoretically OSX could be reinstalled by some other method (flash?) and the computer may work just fine after that.

I suspect that if you have mac knowledge you could resuscitate this computer, or you will surly find that there are many useful parts in it (i.e. the hinge clutch assembly that I had replaced only a few months ago). It its my belief that disk drive is messed up... all other parts seem perfectly functional... though I am far from a computer expert.
