Ellipsis Tree Collective in conjunction with Swirl Entertainment is continuing its search for bold hair stylists with showmanship and the competitive spirit for a brief "style off" competition in celebration of the Chris Rock movie "Good Hair" which will be premiering right after the Good Hair Groove On Party at the Plaza Theatre, Friday, November 27th at 6:45 pm. If you have a favorite hair model upon whom you would like to work, even better. The four hairstyling categories are Weaves, Natural (black) hair, relaxed (black hair), dred locked hair. It's A Good Day For Good Hair! Plaza Theatre, in collaboration with Swirl Entertainment and the Ellipsis Tree Collective (E.T.C) theatre ensemble, is pleased to present the Good Hair Groove-On Party just prior to the Plaza's Calgary Premiere of Good Hair-the critically acclaimed new movie by Chris Rock! Please mingle with us at this entertaining event on Friday, November 27th starting at 6:45 PM, at the Plaza Theatre in Kensington; Calgarians have a chance to step out, top hair-do's in gear, at the "Good Hair" party of a lifetime, complete with comedy, D.J., spoken word, giveaways and an exciting "Style-Off" between Calgary's top hair dressers. Good Hair the movie will immediately be shown at 8pm right after the Good Hair Groove-On Party. The party is free with regular Plaza Theatre general admission, on a first-come, first serve basis, so get there early! Good Hair was a top pick (no pun intended) at major film festivals including the Toronto Film Festival and Sundance. The Globe and Mail calls it a "fascinating, complex tale." The New York Times says Good Hair is "spirited, probing and frequently hilarious." Chris Rock takes his audience on a journey that spans, not only barbershops and ethnicities, but continents as well. I need help building a plaster cast (inner city SW)

Artist seeking artist or medical student to help build a plaster cast of a human torso.

You must be comfortable with the naked human form, mindful of safety concerns and have the ability to work clean and tidy. The more meticulous, the better.

Experience preferred but will consider training you if you have an excellent attitude!

B&W boudoire nude modelling (sw)

Hello, I am a web/graphic designer, and looking to start a new photography project. I would like to do clothed, nude, semi-nude type photos of females.
I am looking to do boudoire/grunge type stuff, etc... The more ideas you had for costumes and scenes, the better. Face shots or not, either is fine with me,
as I am looking more for body shots.

This is a non-paying gig. I don't plan on releasing any of this commercially, just would like to build up a portfolio to perhaps do this type of work in the future.
I would be happy to provide any models with 2 8x10 prints of their favorite shots in return. Could make a nice gift for your husband or boyfriend?
