Lost Wedding ring (Canmore, Alberta)

I lost my wedding ring and engagement ring on Augst 25th, 2009 at Silver Creek Lodge, Canmore. It should be around the front of Lodge, between the main entrance and the parking lot. (some where around lawn/shrubbery/water spout)

I searched for them three times for many hours, even with the metal detector but could not find either of them. Tehy mean a lot to me. The diamonds engagement ring was even from my mother in law and she remodeled her engagement from father in law and gave it to me.

Wedding band is a platinum ring with 1996.6.2 with my husband name.
And my engagement ring is with 3 diamonds (1 big round and 2 oval small) at the same time.

If anyone finds any of these two or have any information about them, please contact me at 403-667-0017.

Orange tabby and white male short-haired cat, found Halloween weekend. Seems not to be neutered. No evident tattoo. Not declawed.
No real distinguishing marks except for a very slight, small scar on his nose. He could have been missing for quite a while, as he has been
hanging around the complex for a few months and it only became apparent a very short time ago that he is a stray. I managed to coax him
indoors and I still have him. Please contact me if you think he is yours - he is a sweetheart and deserves to be in a loving home!

I now have a photo of him. His eyes are a dark amber colour, not evident in this pic.

Golden Retreiver / Lab Cross Missing (Centre Street and 17th Avenue North)

Ozaya (pronounced Josiah) missing 8 pm, November 16th. He was sitting outside Safeway, unleashed, waiting for owner for only about 10 minutes . The owner is heartbroken and has checked with all usual sources: SPCA, TransCanada Vet clinic, etc. Perhaps the person who has him thought he was abandoned but he is sorely missed.

Found Bird: Grey Cockatiel (Cougar Ridge, SW Calgary)

Grey cockatiel found near Cougar Ridge (near COP), on November 11/09. It looks like it had its wing feathers clipped and one side has grown back, or else only one side (left) has been clipped. Bird is mostly grey, with white along the edges of the wings, and faint yellow around its beak, on the face. Also some yellow bars on the underside of the tail. Note: City pets are displaced by the heartless into wooded acreage to be eaten by coyotes, the folks in the rural areas tend to believe they are dumped by their city owners who do not want them anymore, nothing could be further from the truth. We rely on people on these acreages to report new pets who are lost in the area to vets and shelters so they can be tracked using the petlynx system and be returned home from where they were abducted. This is confirmed by the story of Mona, a missing female feline in Calgary, who was found in acreage and returned to grateful owner in Calgary and this is also confirmed by email correspondence with a shelter near Cochrane, Alberta. Thank you everyone for taking note of this sad fact. And obviously it is recommended you register any lost pet with petlynx. Link found on Calgary Humane Society website. Did you lose your dog? (Montgomery)

We found a little black dog outside of Montgomery Junior High around lunch today. The male shorthair had ears that kept flipping back. He seemed in good health and was not interested in the treats we offered. We brought him to the Bowmont Vet Hospital to be looked after. He had no collar and no visible tattoos. The kind people at Bowmont called animal services for us. Hopefully he finds his owner soon.

PLEASE HELP!!! On Saturday October 24, my sister's purse went missing from a table at the Back Alley nightclub. Someone who called himself "Carlos" called my friend's phone after the bar closed from my sister's cell phone and said that he was the owner of the club and he had found her purse and to come pick it up on Monday. Since then we have talked to people at the bar and they say that no one works there by that name and no purse was turned in to them. Lost purse: Stolen out of vehicle (Airdrie Ron Ebbesen Arena)

On Wed., Oct. 21, 2009 my vehicle window was smashed and my purse was stolen out of my locked vehicle. This happened right in front of the gymnastic club door at the Ron Ebbesen Arena. My purse is a black Guess purse with Silver clasps. My wallet inside is a Guess wallet that is cafe-au-lait coloured.

I know this is a long shot...but I would really like my identification, cell phone, personal effects, and photo memory card back. I don't care about the cash, even though it was my daughter's fundraising money.

You can leave the purse at the Arena or at the Petro-Canada anonymously.
