We’re looking for healthy, physically able Métis people, 18 years old and over, with a Grade 12 or equivalent education and a Class 5 drivers license with fewer than 6 demerits, to participate in a three month program of firefighter career preparation.
We will provide you with the training to obtain all the prerequisites and a competitive edge for participants to enter the 2010 firefighter recruitment process and have to opportunity to become successful applicants with the City of Edmonton and Calgary Firefighting Department.

Accounting clerks required for software study

We’re running a Usability study about accounting software that pays each participant a $100 Amazon gift card for 1 hour of their time.

To participate in this study, you must do accounting work at a medium-sized business, using mid-market accounting software. We will conducting the study during the week of Nov 2-6 and Nov 9-13 . This study will be conducted remotely, using WebEx and telephone line. To do this, you will need high speed internet access with a telelphone line and 1 hour. We’ll have you use our software to complete some accounting tasks and ask your opinions about it.

Usability testing is a technique used to evaluate a product by having real users use it. The aim is to observe people using the product to discover errors and areas of improvement. We run these studies periodically to make sure that the software is easy to use.
