2yr old Black Lab / Collie looking for home (Calgary)

We have a 2yr old Black Lab / Collie mix (that looks like a black lab, but is the size of a collie) who is looking for a new home.

She is a fantastic dog, and we love her very much. Because of our current living arrangements we can't keep her and want to find her a great home. Would love to find her somewhere with a big yard as she loves to be outside / go for walks / visit the mountains / etc. She is spayed and has been kept up to date with shots.

she is housebroken, fully trained to sit/stay/free/laydown/play dead/etc... she is a bundle of joy for sure, and is the first dog i've ever seen that you can actually see smile. This is going to be a hard process for us, but we need to find her somewhere to live. Even if only for 6 months, as we will have new living arrangements at that point that would allow us to keep her. Either works just fine for us, it's just no longer fair to her for us to keep her. If you are looking for a great dog, even for a family, this is it. If you have a spot in your home you wouldn't mind keeping a dog for a few months, that works too. Either scenario. We just want her to be happy.

Wonderful 9 year old shepherd - kelpie mix needs a kid-free home (Calgary)

Sadly, I have to give away my 9 year old shepherd-kelpie mix. She has not been able to adjust to our new addition, and needs a home with no children. She is a lovely, calm, well behaved dog. Hi there,

I am starting to look at the possibility of adopting a dog in the new year and was wondering if anyone has a good dog that needs a home. Here is a little about me, what I have to offer and what I am looking for:

Myself: I am currently a Mount Royal University student with a flexible schedule. I am a full time student, however, I am at home the majority of the time as I only have class for a maximum of three hours per day. I live with two other working, adult room mates in a two-storey rental home with a grassy front yard, and a grassy, fenced, back yard. I will be in this living situation for mostly likely the next three years; it is stable and safe. Our land lords have a pet-friendly policy. I have an active lifestyle and like to go for runs and walks frequently. We also live near an off-leash dog walk area. Essentially, I have the time and space for a dog. Also, I understand that sometimes living situations can change, and I am fully ready to take on the responsibility of finding a suitable place that would allow dogs if I should have to move.

Looking for: a small to medium sized dog that needs a good home. I am looking for a decently-trained, affectionate, good-tempered companion. Older dogs are very much welcome and having updated shots and spaid/neutered is always a plus. I have no real preference as to the type or sex of the dog, just as long as it has the above qualities. Keep in mind that we are an adult home with no other pets so compatibility with children or cats is not an issue. I would like a dog that has a medium activity level, meaning it can go on long walks or the occasional run but if I miss a day, it will not suffer greatly. Really, I am looking to provide a loving home for a dog in need who will in turn, probably enrich my life :)

Need dog transported from Puerto Vallarta to Calgary

We are trying to have a dog brought from Puerto Vallarta to Calgary (we were unable to bring him home in October as there was a pet embargo). Westjet is able to transport him, but only as someone's checked luggage. Our friends would be able to bring him in his crate with rabies certificate to the airport. Found in Queen's Park Village apartment complex, 40 Ave & 4 St. N.W., across from James Fowler High School Halloween weekend.
He is obviously somebody's lost pet, is now very friendly and affectionate since he is safe indoors and is being fed and housed. He is fully litter trained and loves his scratching post.

2 Brothers for a Great Home (SW)

I can't believe I am writing this email.

I am involved in a legal fight with my condo board to retain posession of the loves of my life. I have two joyful, gentle, and wonderful dogs, both 1 and 1/2 years old, who I may have to give up. There is no confirmation as of yet whether this will be the case, but I am now taking steps to ensure that should the worst happen they are found a good home. There is no way I will be taking them to the SPCA. No how.

Blink. Blink is a purebread whippet, sourced from a breeder in Thunder Bay, and is the sweetest, most affectionate dog you will ever encounter. His disposition is playful yet soft spoken, energetic yet mild mannered, and he is the greatest of companions. Blink is a beautiful dog who exhibits both grace and nobility, doing justice to his champion line. Should the order come to remove the dogs, I will do everything in my power to keep Blink. Only a worst case scenario would see him leave.

Jake. Jake is a border collie/black lab cross who I rescued from the SPCA when he was only months old. He had many issues common to rescue dogs that are symbolic of abuse; very timid, quick to fear, shied away from physical touch. Through a nurturing and loving environment he has been brought to a state of complete happiness and affection. He is now bold and unafraid, yet very obedient and eager to please. He is extremely handsome and loving.

I am in the early process of identifying prospective homes, as they deserve only the very best. Please remember that it is not certain yet that they will have to be given up. It is my preference that they be taken together, as they have spent their whole lives together and are inseperable brothers. However I will take what action I have to.

Loving cat to a loving home (montgomery, NW)

I'm looking for a new home for my 4 year old tabby female cat. She's an amazing cat, very loving and affectionate...very clean and litter trained....and never had an issue with her wrecking any furniture so I've never felt the need to even cut her nails...She is fixed as well.
The reason I am looking for a new home for her is due to my own living situation, I think she would be happier in a household with either seniors or kids or someone who is home more often than not. I'm not home enough to give her the kind of attention she needs and I can't have any more pets at my place to give her a friend.

Hello Everyone!

I am offering a reptile sitting service for the summer. As a proud owner of a Bearded Dragon myself, I realize it isn't always easy to find someone trustworthy to care for your reptiles while you're away.

I would like to focus on bearded dragons because that is what I own, but I have also owned Chameleons, Geckos, and Snakes in the past.

Pay rate is negotiable, since I am doing this out of love for Reptiles, and not for money. However, I am a college student so extra money does not hurt.

Also, I would prefer to do this in my home since I do not have personal transportation, but would go to your home if it is nearby (I live near Mt. Royal College/Westhills in Glamorgan) for a higher rate. I do have an extra 20 gallon and 10 gallon tank.

2 Beautiful Kittens to a good home (Calgary)
