As our Materials Manager, your main mission will be managing our Materials team in the areas of inventory management, production planning, purchasing, supply base management, and shipping/receiving.  It's a significant role, loaded with opportunity, that will pull from your experiences in developing your staff while implementing proven best practices to deliver results in a fast paced, energizing environment.  As a metrics-centric leader, with the strength to focus the organization behind goal attainment, you will leverage your proven track record in delivering results that ensure on-time delivery, inventory turns growth, PPV attainment, lead-time reduction, successful new product introductions, and overall business growth.  Crucial to your success will be your familiarity with ERP/MRP systems (such as Visual MRP, JD Edwards 9.0, or SAP), strong leadership skills, and robust analytical abilities.  As we are a Lean organization, your experience in environments that had a strong continuous improvement program (e.g. Six Sigma, Kaizen, etc.) will equip you with the skills and methods required to be successful in ours.  Central to all of this is your commitment to the training and development of your staff, and your ability to develop the essential and core competencies required to achieve our overall strategic plan.  We are looking for a solid individual, with a proven track record, who is ready to join IDEX Health and Science as our Materials Manager and fill this most important role within our organization.
