Guitarist looking for other musicians (Cape Cod)

Not really a fan of posting ads like this, but I thought I'd give it a shot. I'm a guitarist with a great ear looking to start up one or two or ten musical projects. I have my own sound and style, but have been influenced over the years by bands such as Yes, Grateful Dead, the jazz fusion bands of the 70s, alternative bands like The Killers, The Bravery, and most recently synth pop bands like New Order, Pet Shop Boys, Erasure, Depeche Mode, Thompson Twins, etc. I do write songs and would like to hear yours, and I like to jam (purposefully and resourcefully) and take music to the next level. I'm not desperate, as I have a day job, but I am committed if the right musicians are found. Wish I could go to a bookstore or something to find you but I'm busy. We're a studio project, two guitars/bassist looking to complete the project with a ballsy drummer and wide ranged vocalist. We play a few select covers but we're probably 95% original. Our age range is 42-46 and it's unimportant how old you are, but musically you must be mature, we do high energy progressive rock and metal, influences range from Savatage to Dream Theater. I am a videographer with over 6 years of experience in public access studio and field production, looking for musicians and other performers who need videos of their live shows and/or practice sessions. I can't provide a demo reel just yet (I haven't been in business long enough) but I can provide samples of my work via Youtube. (I am also available to do audio-only recordings for DJs and the like, if that's what you need.)

I am available not just on the Cape, but throughout most of Eastern MA (out to MetroWest and the eastern suburbs of Worcester) and parts of Rhode Island (Providence-Newport-Woonsocket). The band was formed following his five-year stint with Sheryl Crow as lead guitarist and occasional writing partner. As former lead guitarist for Grammy-winner Sheryl Crow from 1993 until 1998, TODD WOLFE has toured the world with the Rolling Stones, the Eagles, Bob Dylan, Elton John, and Page & Plant among others. Now, Todd with his newest band "WOLFE" formerly the Todd Wolfe Blues Project, picks up where he left off 10 years ago, showcasing his original Bluesadelic material with a searing rock style! "Delaware Crossing", their latest offering, is a rocking treat full of jams and guitar stew. John Popper [Blues Traveler] lent a hand and a harp once again, and as you delve into the deeper cuts like the Pumpkinesque "Gates of Heaven" and the very real, very live "Wolfe Jam", there is no doubt WOLFE is crossing into more than Delaware! Todd's songs have been covered by a diverse range of artist such as, Deborah Coleman, Larry McCray, Faith Hill & Stevie Nicks. Todd began playing on the New York scene back in 1979 with his band, Troy & the Tornados performing in rooms such as the Lone Star Cafe, The Ritz, My Father's Place, Lamour's, The Chance, Tramps, Rodeo Bar and probably any hole in the wall in the NYC area that would book the Tornados. Todd or 'Troy' and company opened for a bevy of acts such as, Johnny Winter, Robin Trower, The Neville Bros., Son Seals, Dickey Betts, Omar & the Howlers, Gregg Allman, The Outlaws, Smithereens, Zebra, and his first opener back in 1980 , Albert Collins! Todd decided to head west in 1990 to write and record a demo with a then unknown backup singer named Sheryl Crow. After having that demo passed on by some major labels and not generating much interest after one show case performance, Todd decided to stay in Los Angeles to record and tour with former Textone, Carla Olson. Todd continued to record and perform with Carla and gig with his own blues trio and kept busy scoring soundtracks for the Playboy Channel. Sheryl in the meantime, had finished her first album, 'Tuesday Night Music Club' and needed a guitarist for her touring band which she put together in June of 1993 so, Todd came on board and remained until February of 1998 and in that time Crow and her band featuring Wolfe, romped around the world several times having toured with the Rolling Stones, the Eagles, Bob Dylan, Joe Cocker, Page & Plant among others. In 1996, Todd relocated back to the NYC area and with Eric Massimino, Mike Lawrence and Crow band mate Scott Bryan founded A & M Record's Mojoson, a modern blend of psychedelic Rock and Blues. Since the Universal takeover of the Polygram group left new A & M acts like Mojoson in limbo, Todd elected to leave the label and dissolve Mojoson, putting his energies into Wolfe, which was born during the downtime from Sheryl Crow tours. Between touring and recording commitments, Wolfe continues to play dates from coast to coast and across the Atlantic.
