Engineering Project Specialist (Cedar Rapids)
The Engineering Project Specialist is a fast-paced and highly detail-oriented position. This is a “no two days are the same” type of role. The individual we are seeking should be a highly self-motivated and outgoing professional. This role includes (but is not limited to):
• Supporting a group of Project Engineers. This entails tracking down information from various sources, pulling and compiling data, and returning to the Engineering team for approval.
• Working with the Program Management team on a variety of projects
• Creating and maintaining complex spreadsheets
• Documentation
Requirements:
• Must have a very thorough understanding of MS Excel. This position requires the creation and maintenance of fairly complex spreadsheets. They need to understand how to link information from one worksheet to another, formulas, pivot tables, etc.
• Accuracy and detail orientation is required!
• This individual must be a self-motivated professional. This position requires someone who will take initiative to “get the job done.” The path to getting the job done is rarely outlined for this person – it is ever changing, and the job requires someone who can figure out what it is.
• This individual will be required to go to many different sources (and often have to ask several times) to track down information or data, so someone who is outgoing and persistent works best in this role.
Preferred Skills:
• MS Project (highly preferred)
• Earned value experience
• Experience working with Engineers in an engineering environment would be helpful

Buyer-6 Month Contract. (Cedar Rapids)
Normally receives general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new projects or assignments.
Work is reviewed for soundness of judgment and overall adequacy and accuracy. Develops solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Frequent internal company and external contacts. Represents organization on specific projects. Utilizes MRP system and processes to manage the outcome for assigned commodity types. Bachelor's Degree in appropriate discipline or six years related experience plus two years of related exempt experience. Coordinating - Demonstrates the ability to circulate information through the proper channels. Customer Service Orientation - Generally applies fundamental service techniques and adheres to proper customer procedures when interacting with customers. Dependability - Demonstrates the ability to follow through with work assignments and support management's policies and procedures. Detail Orientation - Is able to provide the status of work assignments at any time and can quickly produce any documentation or information that is need. Follow-up - Demonstrates the expected level of follow through with internal or external customers. Systems Engineer (Cedar Rapids, )
We are currently looking for a Contract SATCOM Systems Engineer for our client in Cedar Rapids.
Must have the following:
AEHF or Milstar Terminal Development.
DOORS Database or similar.
Security Clearance.
Systems Engineering Experience.
Satellite Communications Experience.
Digital Circuit Board Designer/Engineer (Hiawatha)
Electrical Engineer to serve in a digital circuit board design role. The position requires a hardware design background within high speed interconnect and PWB design technologies. Excellent teamwork and communication skills required. Also requires knowledge of hardware design processes, signal integrity analysis, reliability methods, manufacturability, testability, and thermal control. Assignment may also include deriving and allocating circuit board design requirements from higher level system requirements (within DOORS and ClearQuest databases) and developing technical specifications. Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in applicable engineering or science field or six years related exempt experience. Direct industry experience and knowledge of MIL-STDs (461, 810, etc) is preferred. Hardware Engineer (Cedar Rapids)
Hardware Engineer performing as part of a multi functional team comprised of system engineers, software engineers, hardware engineers, manufacturing engineers and other support engineering groups. The team’s focus is the design and development of current and future of EHF/SHF SATCOM products. This position offers challenging Hardware Design Engineering and the opportunity to participate in all phases of development, including: requirement definition, design, PC layout, test, integration and factory transition. Responsibilities include: requirement definition, system level analyses/tradeoffs, system architecture definition, electrical design, FPGA design, interface support circuitry design, coordination of designs through printed circuit layout, and integration and test.
Requirements:
- must possess research ability, good written and verbal communication skills, and good team skills.
- Proficiency in CPU Design, DSP Design, Communication Interface Design, Tempest Design, Information Assurance Design, Ethernet Interface Design, and Military Electronics Design
- Proficiency in DOORS preferred
In addition, familiarity with SATCOM systems is desired.

This position monitors compliance of City storm water runoff with Federal, State and local regulations; develops and directs the development of engineering plans, reports and studies pertaining to storm water management. The work schedule for this position is 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday. The annual salary range for this position is $63,606.40 to $87,339.20.

This position requires:
Licensure as a Professional Engineer issued by the State of Iowa, or if issued by another state, the ability to obtain within six months. Required Experience:
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s Degree in civil engineering or other related field; and Extensive experience in public works project engineering, design and construction; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work.
