I am a sub-contractor working in the Cedar rapids,Dubuque,Waterloo area. I need a room (furnished or not) use of a kitchen.I really need high-speed internet ,so I can stay in touch with the home office and cable would be nice, for non working hours. also a stall in a garage or space in a pole building. My wife and I (and our 4 month old son) are looking for affordable housing, and are exploring the possibility of either housesitting for someone while they winter elsewhere or sharing part of a home with a homeowner. If a homeowner would want to rent out part of their home to us, we would be willing to help with maintenance, household chores, cooking, cleaning, repairs, etc. I am very handy mechanically, and my wife is a stay at home mother who takes pride in her homekeeping efforts. We are very quiet, we don't watch television nor do we listen to obscene or loud music. We don't smoke or drink, either.
