Desperate for Baroque and Renaissance

First tenor desperate to sing some good Handel, Lully, Purcell, Monteverdi, de Lasso.....anything with great emotion and structure. All the other chorus groups are GREAT, and they perform beautiful music by great choral composers, but in order to get an audience, they succumb to the "greatest hits" or "contemporary" syndrome. OK, but not fun for me anymore! Give me a good Requiem or Te Deum, Agnus Dei, Oratorio, Early Opera, Madrigal, Art songs. Good "early" music from the Renaissance. Something deep with substance and emotion. Even a small group of trained singers will do! Something to open my heart, performed in a space for sound....not a "box room" or "Five Season's Center". I've only got a couple of decades left to perform tons of music. I could care less if there is an audience. People don't know what they're missing if they don't show up......

LOOKING FOR GOOD KEYBOARDIST ( CR)

The local Cedar Rapids band ASTRO PRIESTESS is currently auditioning for a keyboard player.

We're a female fronted hard rock / heavy metal band with various styles. Currently working only with originals. We're looking to play live gigs of various size in the Spring of 2010, weather or not we fill this position.

Influences include all of these (in no order): Iron Maiden, Ozzy, Chimera, 36 Crazy Fists, No Doubt, Killswitch Engage, Pink Floyd, Primus, and many others.
Looking for someone willing to work well with progressive hard rock and heavy metal of varied styles.
Obviously no drama or issues, as you will see the boot. Must be open to other peoples views.

Must have some prior experience (Bands, personal writing etc.)
Must have own equipment, (whatever you need to gig, stands, cords, amplification)
Must be able to learn a set - list of around ten songs (for now, the writing process will be cumulative)
Must be capable of playing live.

Basically just looking to add depth to our sound. (Personally I think influences along the lines of people like Don Airey, Richard Wright, etc would be a good fit, but whatever works.)
Backup Vocals not required, but would be cool.

Singer needed for forming band..hard rock styles...many originals to be in set list with classic rock covers...Must be over twenty one..older prefered.Experience would be good but not necessary if you can front the band and do it with some attitude..
