Built a little over 3 months ago. Very happy with it, but I'm finding the need for portability is winning out over the need for massive multi tasking and gameplay. LG DL DVD burner
I'd be happy to set the computer up in any raid configuration you'd like. Currently am running windows 7 RC1, but it'd be happy to set it up with vista if you'd prefer. As I'm sure you can imagine, it benchmarks very well, it runs all the latest games very well, video editing is absolutely stunning, and it'll convert/burn a DVD in a snap. I know this processor has massive headroom for OC'ing if that's what your into; though it's only on stock cooling now, this mobo throttles it to 2.8 ghz natively (I have it forcibly downclocked). I'd be perfectly happy to take pics of anything specific you'd like to see, or show it in person.

It's an Alienware M17X.
Here's the scoop .... I had a Dell Inspiron 1720 and it had some issues. I upgraded and exchanged it for this Alienware. I opened it, turned it on ... and realized this was way too much computer for me. I did my research and realized this system is not for the typical user .. it's for a high tech user. I am not a gamer ... I will not use this computer to its fullest potential so I want to sell it to someone who will, and I will then buy a new Dell. I just got this in the mail October 29 !!!
I got it from Dell (not Best Buy...). It comes with a one year in-home full warranty from Dell. Dell In Home warranties work great!! If you have a problem with your system that they cannot fix over the phone, you have a tech in your home within 2 or 3 days at the most ... with new parts or whatever you need FREE. Trust me ... they tried everything to fix my Inspiron ... 2 motherboards, a DVD drive and a new keyboard later (all within 3 weeks), they decided to give me a whole new system since mine was a lemon -- so I upgraded to an Alienware. If you try to use Best Buy's warranty .... you might have your computer fixed a week later...if you're lucky...but last time I had Best Buy fix a computer, it took me 4 days to get it in there cuz they were so backed up, then they had to send it out....I didn't have my computer back for 2 weeks. My only complaint with Dell customer service is the language barrier when you talk to the people on the phone ... but hey .. this system is fully covered for 1 year.
This laptop is black and the keyboard is highlighted in blue lights (very cool looking). It has the face recognition software and all that jazz. It comes with the Alienware disks and has Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium installed. Also comes with an upgrade option to Windows 7 (I have not installed this yet but I have the unopened and unused certificate/license for it). Basically .. I have had this computer for 2 days and I know it's too much computer for what I need. I haven't explored all it's features -- I don't really know how. LOL
I have a really nice Belkin red & black laptop bag that I will throw in with this.....I bought that from Dell also.
I am not interested in any trades ....

Belkin 5-Port Network Switch w Cat 5 Cables (Weidman, Michigan) $30
This is a slightly used Belkin 5 Port Network Switch. It's in 100% working order and it comes complete with it's original box and it's even got the original registration card (I never registered it). We have converted to a wireless network, so we no longer need this switch. I am also including 2 or 3 Cat 5 Cables. One is pretty long. I have several Apple G4 computers for sale. 8 eMacs, 8 or so Sawtooths, 18 or so Quicksilvers.
If you know your apple products you know these computers are a few years old but still run OS X very well.

All are running Mac OS 10.4 with iLife 05. Ram (256-1 gig), optical drive (mostly CDRW's) and HD space(10-60 gigs) varies from unit to unit.
The Sawtooths (top right pic) range from 400MHZ to one 733MHZ
The Quicksilver (bottom left pic) computers are all mostly 733MHZ, a few 933MHZ, and one dual 800MHZ. All have Zip 250's
The eMacs (top left pic) are all 700MHZ machine except one 1GHz machine.
