Pharmacy Technician (St. Clair Community College)

Looking for an instructor to teach a Pharmacy Technician training program at St. Clair Community College. Instructor must be a licensed and practicing Pharmacist or a certified pharmacy technician. All materials for instruction including exams are provided. No teaching experience necessary, but is a PLUS, and you will be given first preference.

The course begins February 15th till May 20th on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30-9:45PM.
The pay is $45/hour for pharmacist and $20-$28/hour for certified pharmacy technicians.

Instructors are responsible for providing quality instruction; managing the classroom environment using a variety of teaching strategies; supporting students in their efforts to succeed; making recommendations to the appropriate parties for updates/changes as needed to maintain currency of the program; and maintaining accurate records and submitting records/data by the due dates. At all times instructors should model and employ professional and positive relationships with the administrators and students, and work collaboratively with all members on the team.
