New non profit Organization Forming (Central NJ)
I have a well thought out idea for a new educational initiative. It is aimed at middle and high school students. It is going to use a three prong approach, involving a presentation that I would like to give in every middle and high school in the country, a website for student interaction and corporate participation providing a pathway for students to follow. I know my first step is to FIND PEOPLE TO SERVE ON MY BOARD OF DIRECTORS. That means you have to be committed to the idea of making a difference in the lives of young people and their educational outcomes as I am, and you have to believe in my vision, which I will fully explain to anyone who is interested. I firmly believe that there is an educational crisis in this country and I am committed to doing something about it. I point no fingers at anyone that I wouldn’t point at myself first. We are all responsible. If you have no experience in a non profit organization its okay, your desire to make a difference is just as important. If you have experience in a non profit organization that’s a plus. But please if you care about the future of this country and want to positively influence the educational future of our young people, then please respond, describe yourself, your experience, your reason for responding, and what you feel you can contribute, and I will be glad to get back to you at my first opportunity.

BELL is a community-based, nonprofit organization that works to increase the educational opportunities and life achievements of children living in under-resourced, urban communities.
