Mind's Eye Theatre Live Action Role-Playing (The Bulwark)

New Haven by Night is a Live-Action Roleplaying (LARP) group using White Wolf Publishing's "World of Darkness" setting, with a particular emphasis on "Laws of the Night." We are members of One World by Night, a global organization of games using the same setting, and we would love to see you join in our fun! We welcome visitors, curious observers, and seasoned veterans alike. The group meets every other Friday at The Bulwark, 2251 St. George Lane, Unit G. The next upcoming game will be March 26. Anyone Interested in Playing Fantasy Baseball? (Chico)

A 7 year league is looking for 3-4 players for Fantasy Baseball. The fee to play is $125 entry fee plus $1 per transaction (the average transactions per person for the year is usually between $20- $30). Anyone interested would have to pay the $125 up front as we trusted a few people in the past who didn't end up paying last year. Their loss is your gain...but only if you hurry. Season starts in April, we have begun practicing, however with the rain it's iffy. We practice on Sunday afternoons, right now 2-4pm. Practice is moved back as the sun starts staying up longer. There are "C" teams that try to practice and win, and there are "C" teams that the server serves the ball and it hits their outside hitter in the back of the head and everyone laughs for 10 min about it. And if someone tells you they are like that, they are liars and out of touch with what kind of team/player they really are."

Well at least I can say I haven't hit anyone in the head :) Thank God.
Just hoping to be on a team that has a good mix of abilities and types of people... I tried to join a team awhile back and I was completely upfront about length of time off the court..and that I am a 'Good' player, not great and I still ended up on a post college team and hated it..my skills were just not there.
Maybe this time it will work out.
