Made in Sweden--these machines will be collectible now that the Swedish Viking plant has closed and this machine is much sturdier, better built than newer machines in this price range. This machine is in excellent condition. Has needle up/down feature plus 1/2 speed feature which is like low gear so you can sew heavier items. Sraight, zig zag, blindhem plus several other stretch and utility or decorative stitches, Runs perfect.
