halfway house info? (Springs)

i have a couple questions about halfway houses in colorado springs and their rules etc....my bf is at CJC till wed then he gets out and goes to a halfway house.. not sure which one yet but i dont think it is going to be comcor... he doesnt have a job(which is why he is back in jail in the first place and is on parole)

11 month old Dachshund needs new home! (south colorado springs)

We have an 11 month old Dachshund that needs a new home. He is very active and cuddly, but we have recently downsized to a one parent household and dont have any time to give him the attention he needs. He is pure bred, but we dont have any papers. 1 Year Old Male Dog Free to Good Home (Colorado Springs, CO)

1 year old petite schnauzer named Harrison who needs a family that can give him attention and a yard. We just had a baby and we don't have a yard, so we are rehoming him out of fairness to him. He is a sweet dog who is great with kids and other dogs. He LOVES to play. He just had a vet appointment and he weighed 16.1 pounds so he is very petite. He is kennel trained, house broken, and knows basic commands (sit, stay, lay down, etc). He did attend obdience class as a puppy. He does bark when people come to the door or a noise startles him. He sometimes has accidents in his kennel or in the house (pooping) if he is not taken out when he needs to go out. This happens 1 or 2 a month.

He comes with a kennel, food bowls, food, toys, and bed. He was recently groomed and had his yearly check up at the vet with a clean bill of health. Current on shots. Neutered and microchipped.

We want to ensure he has a good home with a loving family or person who can give him the attention he needs. Therefore a yard is a requirement. We would also appreciate an update on him once in a while. We love him very much, but we have to do what's best for him. Contact us if he would fit into your home!

help our baby find a forever home

About a month ago we had to re-home our baby boy due to breed restrictions in our apartment
complex. We adopted him out to a couple that promised him a loving forever home. Long
story short a friend told us they thought they saw him at the Humane Society. We showed
up there and it turns out they had left him in the night drop at the shelter. We scraped
together enough money through friends and family to rescue him before he was
euthanized. Which was scheduled for the next day because of his breed. Diesel
is the sweetest dog you could ever hope to meet. Loves everyone he meets. Amazing
with other dogs. And has been raised with children from a tiny pup. He is so so smart.
Knows tons of tricks and listens so well. He is a beautiful boy with a muscular build. Black
with black and chocolate brindle sides.
He has lost about 10 pounds because someone had not been feeding him.
He will bounce back in a week or two with regular feeding. Now we are faced
with the same dilemma... Our boy needs a LOVING FOREVER home before our
landlord catches wind of his return and he ends up right back where he started.

Cocker Spaniel (Colorado Springs)

I have a beautiful male cocker spaniel available for adoption. Affectionately called Optimus Prime (thanks to my five-year-old nephew) Optimus is six months old a bit on the smaller side weighing in at approximately seventeen pounds.

Optimus is a wonderful dog; however, he does come with his share of flaws.

Optimus is not 100% potty-trained. He does have accidents every now and then in the house. However, I think with consistency and discipline he will learn quickly. Also, Optimus loves chewing on small cords (cell phone chargers, camera cords, etc.). I have not seen any problems with bigger cords (televisions, lamps, radios, etc.). Furthermore, Optimus does not due well with other animals at all. He quickly becomes very raggressive and dominant with introduced to them -- especially other dogs. Optimus, also, does not due well with younger kids. The youingest he has every been around without growling or snapping is my ten year old nephew. Finally, Optimus is very shy and may even seem aggresive when first introduced to new people. He may pee, bark, growl, or even snap. However, give him his time and space and I promise he will warm up

I k now Optimus sounds like quite the challenge, and I promise, he is. But I can also promise that once he gains your trust and affection he will become your best friend. I have had Optimus since he was ten weeks and he has done nothing but follow me from room to room, curl up on the couch with me, and even daily tries to shower with me.

Optimus is up-to-date on all of his shots. However, he is not nuetered.

Optimus is, also, crate trained and will come with his crate and all of the bedding. The crate is a medium-sized black wired crate with two doors for easy access. It also has a pull out bottom for quick and easy cleaning and a handle on the top for moving. Optimus, also, will come with all of his suppiles, to include: two sets of food and water dishes (inside and outside), collar and leash, whatever dog food I have left when adopted, a jar full of dog goodies, bones, all of his toys (including his favorite tug-o-war rope), dog shampoo, nail trimmers, flea prevention (about a month's suplly), brush, toothbrush, rabies tag, a towel, shot records, and a book about Cocker Spaniels. I am sure there is more but my mind is drawing a blank momentarily.

As of now, I do not have a set price for Optimus. My main goal is just to find the perfect home for him. Someone who has e the patience and time to love on him. So if it sounds like Optimus is the right fit for your family please don't hesitate to express your interest.

HELP FINDING HELP WITH THANKSGIVING/XMAS 4 LOVING FAMILY (FOUNTAIN,CO)

hello we r active military family and my husband just got back from Afganistan, because I had emergency surgery. We were forced to move offbase in a bigger home due to my surgery, and it cost way way more than we could imagine so we r in a bad situation, basically the move drained us financially big time, and my husband is under major stress because of this so I was hoping to have a thanksgiving dinner for my family, I usually cook most of it with the help of my husband but this year that would be impossible as I cant walk or stand very well.because of my major emergency back surgery. Its really important to me to have a thanksgiving meal with my very loving and careing family to give thanks, that I am so blessed to have them. Its really hard when ur use to being the one who makes sure everything is taken care of to not being able to bath by myself. With the xmas well the two girls, I dont know what I would do without them, they help me do everything and I know they do way more than most kids their age, but they never complain, always asking what they could help me with next. Its my 11 year old daughter(we adopted her last december) and my 8yr old granddaughter, when God made angels, they were on the top of his list! It would just break my heart to peices if they couldnt have a xmas. My son showed me what true love and compassion was when he sold all of his stuff and moved here from GA, with my granddaughter to help me in this very difficult time. I dont know if I will ever be able to repay him for this, but they r both just so happy to be here because he hasnt spent a holiday with family in over 10 yrs. I am just blessed to have such a wonderful family, God has been so good to me, so its not me im worried about, its my precious children and granddaughter that im worried about. Im the one who usually does the helping, I found there is no greater joy then that. So being in this situation is very difficult. I got a call today from a place that invited us to go have Thanksgiving saturday, but I cant walk well, and my family wouldnt go without me. I was so thankful to have just been invited. Im really not good being on this side of the situation, I have been very blessed to be able to help many people, so I can only leave it up to u to do just what ur heart tells you, but thank u so much again 4 reading my ad, that means so much to me. 2 mini dachshunds

The most difficult decision to make is when you decide that the pets you love are not getting the love and attention they deserve. I have returned back to school full time as well as working full time as is my husband. We must give up the two sweetest miniature dachshunds in the world! They are brothers from the same litter and cannot be separated as they would not survive without each other. They are both shorthair, one is red the other is black and tan. These two are the most loving dogs! They are housetrained and know how to sit. That's about it :) Very fun and can be considered watch dogs as they will bark at strangers. One weighs about 15 lbs and the other is probably around 11. They are almost 4 years old and are the best dogs in the world. It breaks my heart to have to give them up and this was not an easy decision. Would prefer a family or a couple with a lot of time to devote but we will not give these 2 up to just anyone. We can do all tracks piano, some guitar, bass, drums for $75 a song or if you bring all the musicians with you, we could do it for $45 a song.
We can provide you with recording of your music, producing and mastering for very reasonable pricing because you would need to come to our home. As well if it is something we would be interested in putting on our label, I may talk to you about that.

We have a small 16 track recording studio in our home as well as an Indie Label called Mustang Record USA. We are just moving into the Fairplay area from Nashville Tn.
You would need to bring your own blank CD's for burning the final product on to.
Please let us know, we will be in that area on Dec 6th for good. We are booking now though.

Very large dog kennel, like new (80918)

I have an extra large kennel for sale. I'm asking $75 obo. It's in excellent condition. I just don't need one this big. The original price tag of $199 is still on it. Great deal. It was dirty when I took the pics but has since been cleaned up. Please take this off my hands!
