There's a lovely old wooden desk by the side of the road on Rock Quarry, just south of Stadium. It was used by the Museum of Anthropology as a work table until we ran out of room. Very sturdy, but one drawer front is missing. Definitely needs a truck to haul. Will delete posting when gone.

Red Rubber Mulch, Nugget style (Jefferson City)

Nugget style (not shredded) red rubber mulch; purchased and placed about 4 years ago. We have too many leaves that gather in our mulch bed areas, and we want to switch back to natural mulch. About 60 gallons, or 10 to 12 5-gallon buckets, worth of mulch so far, could be more. Please bring your own buckets or carts to carry away the mulch. Because it is made from tires and has some pointy corners/edges, and is pretty heavy/dense, it may rip plastic bags, so buckets or the like would probably be best. Since it has been in mulch beds for the last couple of years, it is not as red as it was to begin with, and it is dirty, with a few leaves, but was supposed to be rated for 7 to 10 years. If you have an application for it, it will be good for several more years. Please reply to this ad and we will contact you. Thanks!

Large Entertainment Center (North Columbia)

I recently bought a new entertainment center and need to get rid of my old one. I'm giving it away free simply because I need to get it out of my house. It is still in pretty good condition, although has a few places on the very front edge where the finish has been scratched off due to the previous owner putting duct tape on it and my TV scraping it because it's so heavy when I move it. It is also slightly bowed in the center because my TV is so heavy, but it's barely noticeable and if you're crafty you can probably fix it by putting in a brace.

There are three adjustable shelves on the left side covered by a glass door (which will get stuck if completely closed all the way due to the bow), as well as an open space beneath it, an adjustable shelf above the TV space, and another area underneath the TV for stoarge, which is covered by two wooden doors. The right side has four adjustable shelves which will each fit about 31 DVDs.

Dimensions are as follows:
Just over 4 1/2 ft. Wide
21" Depth
54 3/4" Height

Fits up to a 42" TV (that's measuring the space diagonally)

I'll even throw in a copy of The Italian Job because it's an extra and I don't want it!

Solid & Snazzy End Table (Jeff City)

This end table might be the most solid, durable end table you've ever owned.
Originally built to withstand the rigors of college dorm living, this solid wood end table (possibly with a solid steel skeleton, judging by its weight), was rescued and prettied up with paint and an original slate and tile mosaic top. But don't worry, it has two built-in coasters so your glasses (or bottles) won't clink on the mosaic. That's ingenuity! Even better, four beautiful wheels were attached at the bottom for better moveability.

After nearly a decade together, it appears our time together is numbered. Frankly, this end table is too heavy to put in my car. If you want this end table, bring your muscles or someone to help you lift it.

This beautiful, wonderful, solid-as-a-Redwood end table was left besides the dumpster behind 320 Washington St., 65101 on Friday, October 30. Please rescue it before the trash men come (probably on Thursday). I hope you enjoy it as much as I have.

stroller for small disabled adult/teen (columbia)

The stroller is not collapsible, so it is bulky to put in vehicle . The knee to foot rest is for about a 5 ft person in height, yet might be able to accommodate for a large child It is older and needs a good cleaning with brush and hose but has been maintained recently with brakes and tires, so works good. there is a rain awning and has 3 wheels, pushes comfortably for adult who is pushing. IT is made of purple cloth and so fairly lightweight. I would like this to go for a person who has trouble walking and would enjoy going for a stroll, so please mention who would be using it. It is ideal for taking a walk in the neighbor or near the house unless you have a truck or van to transport it . thanks
