CPRC Community Support Worker Supervisor (Kirksville, MO)

We currently have an opportunity available for a CPRC (Community Psychiatric Rehabilitation Center) Community Support Worker Supervisor at our Kirksville, Missouri location.

The incumbent of this position is responsible for the supervision of a team of employees providing access to community resources for individuals with mental illness and/or substance abuse disorders onsite or in the community.

Essential Job Functions:
Under Clinical Supervisor/Program Director/Vice President guidance, will work to establish effective working relationships with other agencies in the communities served. Participate in selection of offsite sources for needed services not provided by the program, informing other agencies about services offered by PFH. Complete monthly file review for the program, ensuring that DMH/CARF standards are being maintained as well as monitoring compliance with program and agency Quality Improvement Indicators.
Follow-up with any deficiencies during weekly staffing meetings and assist staff with correction of deficiencies.
Provide oversight for billable services, completing spot checks on accuracy of staff productivity to ensure that services rendered are appropriate and clinically justified. Monitor progress notes for DMH/CARF/PFH regulations such as DAP format, reference to treatment plans, entered within time frame, etc. Develop annual training schedules for Community Support Workers.
Will coordinate with Clinical Supervisor the scheduling/facilitation of required In-Services, monitoring of staff completion of annual trainings and/or assisting staff with identifying outside trainings when appropriate.
Complete and review written reports to referral sources as needed in a timely manner.
Promote integration of clinical and community support services and works as a team leader.
Correct any file/charting deficiencies within appropriate time frame.
Adhere to weekly direct service expectations.
Ensure that community support staff are representing the agency in a professional manner and maintaining the appropriate contact with client/family member/referral source/outside entities.
Develop program schedule and ensure that client rights and responsibilities are maintained.
Coordinate services and collaborate with outside agencies to provide comprehensive services to the client and client’s family when needed.

AND Demonstrated competencies in the areas of supervision and substance abuse treatment and rehabilitation by virtue of experience and/or training;
